I just put the signal lenses on and they look great .
Of course now the tail light really stands out and I was wondering if anyone has installed their tinted tail lights.
Are they as bright as the stock one ?
I think I can get by wit hthe local po po for the turn signals but the tail light would need to work .
I have a green 09 so Im looking at either the green tinted one or the red tinted one for the tail light .

Any one played with these yet . I love the turn signals it really cleans up the look of the bike IMHO

I really liked the tail light and signal covers.
I've had there products on all my bikes-never a problem.

Mike, I have the smoke turn signals and tail light. I'm sure the green tail light is just like the smoke. It's only visible as far as being smoke, when the bike isn't running, or at least no power to the tail light. When you do have power it's red just like it should be. The clear alternative tail light has smaller led's inside of it. But there are quite a few more of them. So it's actually a little brighter.

Then I also have one of those brake light modulators hooked up to it. I got it from these folks in case anybody would be interested.

http://www.kisantech.com/application2.php

I sent them my stock tail light, right after I got my Clear Alternative tail light, to use as their model. So I know it fit's and works great!! Andy was the guys name that I worked with. I still have his e-mail addy if anybody want's. But I don't know if he's still there. Been a couple of years ago.

Ha, I knew somebody would call me out on that, LOL!! I have no ideal what the model number would be for the brake light modulator, Since mine was the proto type, of course it didn't arrive packaged or even with a model number. Even though they specifically used my stock tail light assembly to make it, I use it with my clear alternative tail light assembly. So if they show a model # for the stock it should still work with the clear alternative.

Andy was the guy's name I worked with. You might send him an e-mail at just to be sure. I don't think it would be any different now but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I know I can't say enough good about the modulator. People I ride with tell me it's annoying as hell because it really catches their attention. And that is exactly what I wanted. Something different to help the cages see me when I apply my brakes.

I will be ordering the green one . I dont know if I will be using the turn signal part as I like my turn signals.
but the white tail light has got to go .
I will do the green one and if no po po problems stick with that , If that dont work I will do the red one.
Still shopping for the best price location on them . So far it looks like 58cycle and they did well on sending me the turn signals

I don't use the integrated turn signals. Like you, I am happy with what's on the bike. And you have to use included resistors to make them flash right. Resistors just add heat and another fail point.

I am curious if the green is like the smoke, where it only shows green without power to the tail light. Please let us know.
