Dealer quoted me $23300 for the H2 street, the H2R was $45,000 something.. both way to much for me.

You're stealing them at that price! UK OTD price is £41000 for the 2R ($63960 at current exchange rates) and £22000 ($34320) for the H2 street. All the 2R's are already sold anyway, apparently.

I wonder how long before someone tries to register a 2R for road use and will they even be able to, seeing as Kawasaki state the bike is "Not manufactured for road use"?

I thought they were 25k, but maybe the dealer just wants to see one! 23k-25k isn't too much to spend for a bike though. I though the H2 is equipped with high end suspension components too.

Agreed. I paid £16500 for a 1198SP back in 2011 and that was after blagging a discount, sticker price was over £18000. I believe the new R1M is around £20k. I'd be very surprised if anyone manages to get any sort of 'deal' on a H2, let alone a 2R.
