For the people using Brocks setup. Have you tried race map on the street? Opinions?

If you are talking about the pump track map then yes I have. If you're talking about the race gas map then no I haven't. Pump track map seems a little but not much less smooth than the street pump map. It's noticeable but not huge.

For the people using Brocks setup. Have you tried race map on the street? Opinions?
Yes, just spent two days tuning Brocked out ZX14R. This bike worked well but the owner kept complaining of fuel smell Now for those of you who run those Brock maps you can see running Rich should not be the case. This had my interest peaked as the soote on the pipes backed up his claims.
So in short I finally stopped playing with the Boosted bikes long enough to take on this job. After two days of data logging bike now runs exactly as it should. Pulls like Mad. AFR line smooth across the board, rich spots are gone Smoooooth, smoooth , smooooooth.
Reason I'm saying all this, is, IMO, too many guys compare one Tune or flash against another without ever really knowing how their own bike operates. Lets face it, these bikes are all exactly the same from Kawi. Claims of massive differences Ignores the Science. If your bike feels weak my bet is your gut feeling is not wrong.
Give me ten zx 14s, All with a 13.8 AFR Line and I will show you there is little differences to speak of.
roadczar, I found 15% 20% & 40% columns all needed fuel pulled to get AFR above 11.5 Once this was cleared up bike pulled clean and much harder for street use. The 100 % column was out 5% above 7000 Rpm to the rich side and below was 16% fuel had to be pulled.
Now once again on "THIS BIKE". Mods Brock Duals, Brocks oil, Aslyn Additive. 6 over stock gearing, not that matters.
Now I ran those maps in my bike and the results were much different. Just goes to show once again what works for one bike does Not work for all.
I'm still old school in my thinking you need to take "your" set up with someone elses Flash, Fuel Maps or whatever to get started. From that point the owner needs to go to local dyno shop to fine tune for "His Bike" "His Air" "His Fuel" etc. After this is complete start datalogging off the dyno. Only then will you ever really know how your bike is running
Hope this helps
cheers

Romans, Was your baseline tack of street map?
To be honest I can't remember now. Sorry I didn't see this sooner.
How did you adjust for ram air?
Data Logging on the bike for 13.8 at wide open throttle. Look for up to .3 from dyno. Watch Whee's AFR. Get your bike here and she will fly. Promise.
