Just my opinion, don't want to debate this with anyone.
I have a difference of opinion and would enjoy discussing the difference at length!

@VicThing - Just want to say that I think its a dick move to say in your sig that you have the Cblast flash but you dont recommend it.
What if someone put in their Sig that they dont recommend you because you suck at burger flipping or whatever it is you do to make a dime (rocket science for all I know)? Either say you have it, or delete it from your sig, but why do you feel the need to negatively advertise against a guy who has received a lot of praise for his work on this forum. To be honest I was kind of feeling like this forum was turning into a cblast billboard for a while, but that's because I was reading all the related posts on a topic that I was very interested in. I dont have his flash and i'm not trying to say you shouldn't voice your opinion about the flash but why cross the line and memorialize it? Someone wants to know your opinion, it will be in the thread that comes up in search 3 years from now, not in every post you make for the next 3 years. Personally it doesn't make me feel any ill feelings towards the flash or steer me away from it in any way. The only thing I think when I see that in your sig is that your an ignorant person who I will now disregard any opinions you have about anything in the future if for no other reason than total lack of respect.

darkarcher - I see no problem with it. It's pretty much the equivalent of a person who feels they've been done wrong and often wants to bring up the topic in person. That can get old, in person, of course, but if that's what the guy feels, so be it. His opinion is just one after all (one I happen to agree with, by the way). If every other Cblast flash owner is happy and continues to say so in various posts, I would say Cblast's reputation will be just fine.
Not to mention, all it said was that he doesn't recommend it ... he's not saying it sucks ass or is terrible, just that he doesn't recommend it.
Of course, to counter Vic's sig line, you could get a Cblast flash, and if you're happy with it, post that in your own sig line.
Another idea: Why doesn't somebody post a poll asking whether or not you're satisfied with your Cblast flash.

darkarcher - I think it's a dick move to not read through the thread or completely disregard the facts presented in this thread.
For clarity, I don't feel I've been done wrong. People know when they've done me wrong. This isn't about revenge, I have no feelings at all about the issue.
So why do I have not recommended? The flash doesn't live up to all that it's advertised to be. That's it pure and simple. Subjectively (butt dyno) or objectively (timed test), I can't tell any difference between the flashed ecu and completely bone stock ECU except the basic differences such as rev limiter and TRC remain setting. Why would I recommend that?

@VicThing - Just want to say that I think its a dick move to say in your sig that you have the Cblast flash but you dont recommend it.
I have no problem with this. If someone has an accessory or modification that they don't recommend, I don't think it's a 'dick move' to say so. If you list something as a mod in your sig line, it's assumed that you recommend it. If someone just wants to clarify that they don't recommend it, so what? There are TONS of opinions for or against any flash in quite a few threads here. One guy's sig line isn't going to make people run from a flash, but it might make them think and do some deeper research before they put down their money. What I haven't liked about Vic's posts are the personal attacks against drag racers that aren't 'paid' (so they must be stupid pieces of shit or something), and what I saw as a shallow testing technique.
I'll probably get a flash at some point, but right now I'm leaning toward Ivan's because I like having the power commander to fine-tune things and for the quick-shift feature. I have that on my VFR and it's great. Not that you can't add a power commander to anyone else's flash, but I've spoken to Ivan a few times and I like what he does.
