I can't do full lock turns anymore with the junk have stuck to my dash. The only time I ever did them was with both my feet on the ground.

I think the key is to keep a light grip on the bars and support your weight with your knees against the tank, not with it resting on your hands/wrists.

A beer or 2 first might also help
