I used to go a little loose on the axle nut (as is my usual practice with most torque specs). The torque might have something to with compression on the wheel bearings or the legs of the swing arm. My rear axle nut is only is only torqued to 50 ft lbs with the Carrazzeria rim and bearings. CZ recommends using half the OEM torque spec for the rear axle.

Don't know if this is true or not,but I have read you should reduce torque settings by as much as 25% on lubed bolts

2012 14R,full hindle Evolution ,vortex rear sets,BST's with ceramic bearings,HID's,hyper pro damper and custom map 205.3 hp/120.2 torque

What size reusable cotter pin goes on the rear axle?
