53 years old and totally new to any type of sport bike. My riding career starts back in 1970 on a zuki 50 just to learn how to work a clutch. 1972 I got my drivers license and a short few months later got my "M" endorsement. 1973 was my 1st bike which was a 1974 500 triple. Nobody including me knows why I am still alive after 5 500's and 2 750"s triples. From there I graduated to the 900 and 1000 in various forms from 1075 to 1200 kits then in 1988 got a ZL1000 which was my 1st 4 valver and thought WOW! I think I got the 1st BLACK ZRX1200 in St. Louis and added to the collection since. At the moment I have my ZRX1200 that is set up for strait line, ZRX1100 slightly modded but the everyday cruiser and the 2008 used ZX14 that now is very slightly modded and set up for a comfy cruiser.
In between all the Kawi's there has been a 1973 750 Honda with a 836 kit and a 1979 Honda 750 10th Anniversary Edition that I did not have to long because somebody else decided they needed it more than me. I also had a 2004KGT bemmer that I sold to get the 14.
I have a 9th grade education and have worked in the same factory since 1974. I have been married for 19 years as of yesterday so have pity on me.
Wife has been riding for about 3 years and has a 2007 919 Honda. I doubt that she has more than 3000 miles saddle time but she take off like she has been on it forever.
This 14 is gonna be a challenge because it is so cramped with crap that I hate to pull the plastic off to find the bike. I still gotta add wiring for the GPS and a power plug for the tank bag and air pump.
