Seat pan? Shit... Suppose I can get a pic of that too. ... The bike is getting tore down again tomorrow.

Even if the FSM didn't call for new bolts, I'm confident that they woulda been replaced. No worries. Actually, I'm loaning the motor, and it's getting refreshed again before I get it back. Long story short, some of us crazy Washingtonians are building a bike, have signed a rider, and are coming to Cali to steal your lunch money.

Superbike? That is a small field to enter. If you have a hired gun, you might do well.

You just lost your pit pass.

Hey, does your guy have enough points or is this an old pro catching a ride? That is a heavy pit PA$$... Someone must be paying your way for the engine borrow... Or they better! -Wink!... Wait for it... -Wink!

He's sitting in 17th, more than 200 points down... Focus is on one race @ a time, not the Championship.

I'm being very well compensated for my contribution... Laguna trip is paid for and then some... btw, what kind of bike should I go pick up and ride today? Sumo maybe?

Like I said, that spur of the moment trying to find a place close to the track, I'd have to jump in bed at 9, wake up at 3, be there before traffic clogs me up? Pass thanks. You'all have fun now. Take vids of the GP noise, pics of the umbrella shewingers.

Focus is on one race @ a time, not the Championship.
The thing is, we already have a package. I have to keep proving I have a scout in the lead, we check to see if that chemistry happens? It happened on our end, wink-wink, but we are now looking for the lead rider. We found one and it is all about grooming.

We couldn't work with the package. The other one we have in the works? Dad is all write this down, uses a torque wrench, no stripped parts out of the other bike. This is a package we can work with. Kid takes direction. First thing I asked was his weakness? Both he and his dad within seconds of each other both point at the starts.

I gave the kid a choice of 3 variables. The one he was using, the more experienced one, or the goe-generic here is this one. He chose the basic, fundamental move. Every time dad popped him off the stand, I yelled to practice his starts with a pat on the back.

The kid we are looking at hole shots and wins. Is faster than the potential team mate we sort of have our eye on. All we need is some of that Washmywallet with some of that green... They are just kids with mommy and daddy going broke; there is lots of raw talent out there to mold into some euro pounding potentials.

Hey Dogo, if you are going to Laguna come by campsite 132 above turn 6. I camp there every year for the GP race. Free BEER!!!!! Look for the Red ZX14 and a grey Dodge Ram.

Mad

ps- if you need a place to stay our campsite is open to friends.

Tyler, Hub?... Dave would be lucky to have him... Too bad my fleet of Hondas all have pull starts. lol
Dave is really focusing on expanding Redline's racing program. I agree with you that to do that, he needs to focus on young talent. I'm in the position to plant a seed... but would be up to someone else to water it...

Mad, I'll come by your camp for sure. Look forward to cracking a cold one with you.

Bingo! Got him up to 4th in points. I call him, "Top End." Go up to him and call him that. LOL. He's on his own now basically. He's on a really good team. They are taking good care of him. He got himself there without anyone's help. I came late no doubt. I like to see the problem, fix it, then exit. Kind of like a troubleshooter [been there, done that]. It's like winding up a prop on a string was the problem. Water is kind of rough. Either sink or swim once you let go of the propeller. His boat. He's the captain. You can't call the ball anymore. Figure it out the hard way kid. Not much more you can do, right?

Dave would have a nightmare. That pit needs lots of seasoning in a pit sort of way. One thing is moving from amateur to pro. Why too simple decisions become horror stories. There is one too many stories in every pit. You'll have yours or Dave runs a smooth ship. Get my drift?

I'm already thinking [from here] about pulling your rider over for a little wisdom racing You never stop learning, right? Maybe something happens next year we bring the goods to top end you boys. Give us a chance is all. You have your package... I'm holding mine.

Anyway, You and Dave have fun now. It's total crapshoot racing. That's why it is so much fun! You never know what happens till the end. At least you tried, right? 'Can't take that away from you' as they say.

No shit! Once the engine is out of the way, the next wizard in the pits is the chassis tuner. If the rider can't feed the input, the tire scrub will. It's an art. Over my head but it sure needs a tire reader. You have one in the pool of misfits?

No... not me, Rook.

Mitchell Pierce was riding.

He and Nels deserve some serious props for getting 'er dun... As this was what the old whore looked like after the previous round:

that's the only reason I don't drift like that, of course!

That is a nice video. Anything I do would look pathetic next to that.
