So if the car gets LOUSY mileage, burns inefficiently, with 6-8 cylinders as opposed to 1,2 or 4 cylinders-we're supposed to believe that the motorcycle is polluting the atmosphere MORE?Just how does that work?(not to mention the ratio between cars and bikes on the road). So my Ninja is gonna pollute more than her Hummer for the same amount of miles driven?(yep,LA TIMES alright). So let me get this straight then-Both engines are running 91 octane. Both are fuel injected.I'm burning less gas per mile than the Hummer.Yet MY pollutants(running through the catalytic converter)just like the Hummer's, are MORE? I wasn't aware that the motorcycle is running some "special" blend that creates more pollutants.Hmmmmm-who woulda thought?Maybe I missed something here?(she did quantify though by saying"get a fuel injected model with a three way cat")So then THAT model DOES NOT POLLUTE MORE?She left that part convieniently OUT,except as a "passing remark".Is Susan Carpenter THE Throttle Jockey?Or is that the name of the smear story.
