Fatsix when u plasti dipped your lights did you remove them 1st or use painters tape or something similar to them without removing them. I have my can of plasti dip but wasnt sure if i should remove the lights or i can do it with them still on the bike?? Thx..

Nitti, not trying to steal fatsix's thunder but I did mine as well and I found it easier to take them off first. Haven't seen fatsix on here in a while so I wasn't sure if he was going to respond or not.

Thx Busakiller1987. I experimented with using painters tape to see how it would. Not bad but im a redo it and take the lights out. Also its still in the 30s here in philly and the garage im using isnt as warm as it should b and the plasti dip ran a little. I guess it needs to be warm temp not run. Thx for the response. I havent seen fatsix on here either in a while.

Took them out (just look at the pictures). You will get over spray on the bike if it is even in the garage and the lights are hanging on the other side. Did you plasti dip the outside of the rear light? Does the light even shine through? I think with plasti dip you have to wait a few mins before coats.
