Well I couldn't help myself and wound up ordering the stage one super charger gear... it adds 2 pounds of Boost which when combined with the new velocity stacks will be about 18 to 20hp. I already have the full system on her and Dons flash so this will be it. I only went with the stage. One because the temps get very high the faster you spin the supercharger. I should be more than fine with that increase. I could add the water to air intercooler which adds 10hp more and really lowers the temps but it's about 8 to 10 pounds and I've lightened her up so much (440 dry) that I really don't want to add that much weight especially that high on the bike. I'm going to install the gears when they come in and then trailer my girl to my tuner to make sure she's spot on.

Cool! From a quick online check, I believe the 10 lb intercooler would cost you one hp or add about .01 seconds in a quarter mile but the net increase of 9 hp would cut .09 seconds off your time. i'm pretty sure it would result in better acceleration and top speed anyway...and you could look at going all the way with the supercharger gear with the improved cooling. Why be practical about this?

Well the parts came in and now just waiting on the gaskets that are on back order. I'm going to install the power commander ignition module so I can take a couple of degrees out while on the dyno and see where I'm at. I'd like to have a switch for two timing maps if it's possible for different fuels..... this should be a blast!

Check the software. The timing may be map position 1 and 2 specific like the fuel map is. If so, the ignition map should switch with the fuel map.

Yup that's what they said at Dyno Jet. I'd like to make a 93 octane map and a race fuel map and see how that goes. I have the Brock's HD clutch sprigs I'm going to install also but the lever is already a pia hard so that part will suck. I could change the master cylinder for more power but I have too much shit on my list already going on....lol

I've been told that Brocks clutch springs with one spacer will not make a lot of dif in clutch lever tension on a ZX-10 which does not even have a hydraulic clutch. I believe you stack additional spacers to increase spring tension and then I'm sure you'd feel it in the lever. I really like Brocks chamfered spacer because it keeps the spring centered. The OEM springs on the 14 cause clutch hub wear in the spring holes. Very noticeable on my 14. i may order Brocks spacers because my Adams springs came with spacers that are just a cut piece of aluminum pipe. Should equal 3 or 4 Brocks spacers but they won't keep the springs centered. ..and I am sure I will feel it in the clutch lever.

Going to install the gears this weekend and a power commander ignition module so I can take out a couple of degrees to be safe.....

Ok I installed the upper gear and the new velocity stacks and power commander timing module.... was pretty easy for sure. Got her to the Dyno and tuned her.... Big difference! She jumped up about 13HP to 256.8HP!

Yeah looking forward to getting out on her and playing..... She actually made more power with just the upper gear than my buddy that had the upper and lower gears and bigger header tubes and made less power....

For sure.... he wants me to install both gears and get the same headers however I don't see a point to spend an extra 2800 bucks for less power LOL
