Honestly...IDK HOW they ride like that for 6 laps...at that speed and hitting their lines in the curves and all....just amazing...it really is.

Connor Cummins!

He's doing good. Probably not a 100% but still faster than all of us here. He joined Guy Martin at Tyco Suzuki.

I am amazed at that race and the balls of steel those guys have.

Has to be one of the most dangerous races, bar none.

I noticed...they're not spending a lot of time 'getting their knee down' on those curves.Geez...most dangerous...yeah....without a doubt.

I'd love to ride around a few times, not to race, but sport-touring style, just to enjoy the whoop-de-doos a little.

I've been watching those videos at least once a day lately!! I love the music on the first one. What grace and talent. I can't even imagine. I've ridden since I was 4-1/2 and raced motocross regionally until I was 25 and was fairly accomplished at it. Not until I got my zx-14r did I realize why the road racing stuff always seemed like a much bigger sport. Now...I get it!! Sheesh, what those guys do at the speeds they do it at. One word "DAMN"!!!

How about the screaming RPM levels those engines run and for extended runs up those straights.

EXTREMELY talented and balsy...you gotta admit that.No way would I even approach what they're doin on those 1000's...sheesh....Just insane havin to hold it all together for 6 laps...miles...we're talkin MILES of flat out concentration...complete...total....tuned in.No way could I ever get that kind of mindset...no way.I honestly don't know HOW they're able to negotiate that course at those speeds...and keep it together.Amazing...just amazing.

I agree, it's just CRAZY!! I can't even imagine!! I'm gonna get my racing gear back on this year!! I raised 2 boys by myself, their mother move out of state when they were 5 and 10 so I had to be their mom AND dad until they were grown. Now they are gone and I'm on my own so I gotta go back to what I've loved all my life and that's....bikes. I'm gonna get a gxsr600, make it race-ready and go have some FUN!!!

If I were in that race, why not enjoy it and try not to avoid the inevitable.

So, I'd want to be on a BMW HP4, and drunk as a bat.

I wouldn't last long, but what a way to go, right?

Connor Cummins talks of his injuries, Go to 137min.
As soon as I got my knee surgery done, I watched this video...one hour and 47 minutes of death defying bliss gentlemen. released in 2010, but still one of my favourites...
Takes three years to learn the track and contend. The second I hit loto, I am going. I'll hire Hub as pitman mechanic, and take the bean along tooo!

I work for free if it's piTT work. Loto? That's all that money will go to if I win. "Lap of the Gods' and all that bucket list to write off.

I'm a fan of that trolly mechanic. The rebel in him and all that. Classic mechanic running with the big boys or maybe he is the big boy because most have the skill but not the bike being part of that %'age. If he podiums in a few months, he is one of the 'brilliant' ones that can keep placing up front.

Go to 34:06 and let the clip end. He's so funny.

I am a fan too, he's a breezer to watch for sure. I play Lottario, Lotto 649 and LotoMax every week bro. The bucket list revolves around the motorcycle, firing ranges, and vacations (moto tours), bro! I would want to put a team into the TT, but I want to ride in the TT too. A good team, needs an amazing mechanic, that's were I gladly take you up on your offer to get involved HUB. But if I got bank, I am paying dude! There's a long list of guys I would take from this forum. Of course all my Igloo Nation brothers (Canadian Riders), some Yanks and some Auzzies for sure.
Peace Hub, let's hope my numbers get drawn!
