I was driving home pulling the cargo trailer and was in heavy traffic. I was in the left lane doing about 50 when the SUV in front of me shot to the left into the median and the truck in front of him was stopped in the road. No way to stop, so tried to go between the two vehicles. I was in a hard lean while breaking when the front wheel got to the grass median and low sided. I went rolling in the grass and ended up 50 ft from bike. The bike slid into the bumper of the SUV and dented the tank. Resulted in 9 Broken ribs, Broken collar bone and shoulder blade. This just as I was recovering from the Triumph Rocket Crash 3 months ago.
God is awesome! He allowed me to go between the vehicles and land in the grass. It has allowed me to witness and pray with nurses, patients, and other bikers. My wife was asked by the doctor's if she was going to take my keys. She just looked at him and went off on him. She said that I was doing God's work and did what I was suppose to do to try to avoid the accident. If this is the case, then if I had a car wreck, would she stop me from driving a car? God blessed me with a great woman.
The bike is a clutch reservoir away from being drivable. She is scratched up, but doesn't look that bad. The Trailer didn't flip and actually helped hold the bike up some.
