Looking for a pair of "like new" all black foremans for my 09 SE.

Saw your post and figured I would save you the headache that I have gone through with this. My assumption is that your want an all black foreman to replace yours that have the orange stripes and at the same time match the frame like the black does on the current one you have. That would be a Flat Super Black panel...check out www.colorrite.com for the paint colors. Well, its not as easy as it sounds. See, the frame went through a color change between 07 and 08 so if you try to get a black foreman off of an 07 or previous it will not match how you like because the foreman will be more glossy and have metallic flakes. 08's didn't have the flat black foremans only the silver painted and the blue painted. There is the special edition thrown in there but you don't want that one. 09 brought about the burnt orange, the green one, and the monster energy, and the diablo black. only the green one has the flat black panels. Now we are at the 2010s and there will be the titanium silver and the persimmon red...the red one looks like it has the Super black panels but I can't get any dealer that knows the actual paint color of the frame.

So, is my assumption correct? If so, let me know and I can give you the info that I am going to find out today as I am calling around the get a few answers before I pull the trigger on new OEM Flat Super Black panels myself.

You are dead on Admiral! I want to tone down the orange a bit, but yes, I want the foreman to match the frame.
Thanks for giving me the benefit of your experience. I would have been bummed to get something other than what the frame color looks like.

TF...so after speaking with several people here are the part numbers I ordered. They should match the frame on 08s and 09s and these are all black. These are actually the fins that come on the 09 Lime Green one and I will know for sure next week. I ordered them new from cheapcycleparts.com.

TF...foremans arrived today and they are an exact match to the frame color of my 08. They are for the 09 Lime Green which means they will match your frame as well. Use the part numbers I gave you. The cost was $45 per side. If you are looking for a like new you might have trouble finding these since they will only come off of an 09 Lime Green so I suggest you buy them new and save yourself a headache. Hope this helps.

I will follow your lead. $90 bucks is a bargain. I would have guessed they would be twice that amount. Post up a pick when get them mounted.
