It's just too much fun to abstain from. The weather has been warm here and I always see more cops when the weather improves. I still have to have a little fun and keep a sharper eye out for cops. I had a little race with a nice looking Talon. Probably not the fastest car in the world but the guy had some lightweight rims and a fancy exhaust and he definitely liked to play. We found hole shots on either side of a semi and we both hauled @$$. He was history in the first 20 yards. I slowed down to let the guy catch up and when he did, i looked straight over at him. The passenger was reading a book and the guy driving paid no attention to me at all. That must have been the steet racers equivalent of poker face because he still wanted to play. Second hand, lost again. I down shifted and slowed way down again to let him catch up. He must have had the pedal floored the whole way. He did his best to blow me away with an 90 mph flyby but all he got was about 3 feet ahead of me and the 14 was wound up and off again up to 130 in a few seconds.

They own some of the fastest Evo's (dynoflash, buschur, ams...etc.)
but they always cry when they see the Central Florida tuners running the same and faster times on their daily drivers ;)

1) Hub, glad you're back.
2) I saw those videos last year, and wanted to buy a Subaru. My twin turbo is too fat for that kind of acceleration, but I bet it will last a lot longer. Especially the way they drive.
3) I must be bored, but I read the whole thread. I think some people think your "nonsense" posts are a veiled insult. They can't think in abstract, and need things in black and white. That's not an insult to them. Everybody's brain works differently (especially yours). It's like playing devil's advocate, and them thinking you're the devil. I was following along, wondering why Moe didn't give more info in the first place, and thinking the same way you were. Why risk engine damage to find out if you have engine damage?
