I can't even figure out where these companies are putting the second mounting point in the front. I have seen the sliders, but I can't see where they would go.

At the front of the engine there are two motor mounts, upper and lower. The popular hole is the upper mount location. The second mount would be at the lower motor mount. Some sliders come with a triangular shaped plate. At the third point of the plate the slider itself would mount. This spreads the force, at impact, to two different points. It would be inherently stronger than a single mount. The Race Railz use the upper rear motor mount for the second location, but It's not really that much better than a single front mount. The rail I saw from B2 had a plate welded to the front tube which extened down to the second front motor mount. That wouldsignificantlyreduce the force on the upper mount in case of impact. I'm thinking about adding a plate like that to mine. Stuntworx should make them like that to begin with.

The thing going for Stuntworx' Race Railz is the impact spreads along the length of the side rail, before getting to the attachment points. This lowers the forces and slows them down some. It also distributes the force out fore and aft, whereas a single slider takes it all in one small area, and is more likely to snag on something if the bike is sliding.
I agree though, the more mounting points, the better.
