Most functional levers?
03/28/15 7:50 AM

I'm looking for a clutch lever with maybe an easier pull and a little smaller feel to it. Can't seem to gel with the stocker. Anyone know of any?

Did you try adjusting the angle by loosening the clamping screws and rotating the whole assembly? Just an idea.

Yes, it's more of the feeling I get from my fingers. Maybe just have to get used to a stronger pull than I'm used to

I felt the clutch was a bit on the tight side but I got used to it. I don't think Pazzos make take any of the strain out of pulling the clutch. OEM levers are about 2 oz heavier than the shorties so they probably weigh about the same as the Pazzo longs. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend shorties for easier pulling.

I got he Pazzo long levers, smaller than the stock, but not too short, however, some people have
problems with aftermarket levers, I havent yet ...

If you get them. make sure the little cylinder thing on clutch is sitting right in the clutch lever
and keep it lubed well with a good grease

I have the ASV C5's. I had all kinds of issues with them when I first got them from Moto Mummy. IMO they were not set up correctly for a ZX14 and after Moto Mummy said it was the manufactures problem I sent them back to ASV who did take care of me and sent me a correct fitting set. I still think the stock clutch lever engages the clutch a little better over the ASV's but the ASV's are nicer looking levers. Been running them for over two years now with no real issue.

I also run the ASV C5's and have had no issue at all.
Great product and much better feel and look than the OEM's IMO.
The only thing is I would not recommend the shortys in these as they are too short ( see below pics which are longys).
Again IMO go the long versions if you go down the ASV path though ZX14rider may have something to say about that...

I also use the ASV pricey but worth it! Zxrider how does those gold levers compare to the gold wheels? Mine are way off but I think I'm still going to use them..

I actually don't like the way the asv levers fit my 14r either....
Clutch pull is not directly into the middle of the bar... it hits below center.... something you sort of get used to
but still not the way it should be in my opinion.....

by the way 06blkpearl, the gold matches nicely with Carra's anodized gold.... not sure about Oz's....the Hyperpro damper though is a much paler gold colour.... wishing I got something different for my stabilizer..

I rock Pazzo levers only. Got a set on my 14r and a set on my 12r.
Had others too, find Pazzo to be stellar. Fit, finish and performance all top shelf.

I'm really liking my Pazzo levers! Can't say it's lightened up the clutch feel though. However, the adjustable throw is pretty nice and feels better than the OEM clutch lever.

06 Pearl, the gold ASV's match the wheels pretty good. Not perfect but still looks great. I also have a gold GPR, gold pegs, Gold banjo's on the braided lines and gold mesh in my front CF fender and CF hugger. I like the gold!

Hi there,

I'm using the V-Trec long version for now.

The color matches pretty good and the adjustment's also.
Changing them was a game.
