Who knows what someone was thinking when they put the big spring on the pedal. The spring attached to the brake light switch is actually more then enough to return the pedal but I did use a small spring to keep the pedal from bouncing on a rough road and trigering the brake light. I feel like the big spring takes all the feel out of the pedal and dampens out any feedback. I use my back brake a lot so I like to a better feel for what it is doing, also why I lubed it to make it smoother, not a lot but sure didn't hurt any.

I cannot believe there's any bike that's more fun to ride than this thing.

I took a ride on a friends hayabusa and when I applied the clutch it seem to be a bit harder then the zx. THE ZX14 has a smoother clutch action and more of a hunch over riding position

Had to have had clutch spring mod. my busa's clutch is a lot easier than the 14.

not sure but the brakes are even easier to apply on the zx

Oh yeah! All you need to do is touch them on the 14. The busa will pull to the grip before the front tire locks.

I've found a spot to play pretty hard (for now..unfortunately could change any time), probably post some vids at some point. But now that I have a chance to push it a bit harder under much closer to track conditions, I'm getting a better feel of braking with the front and rear (no changes to the rear still). Fun to be wearing the edges of my tires a bit, even getting a tad melty!

Playtime is about done here. Lucky to have mid seventies. Couple weeks, it's done for the season. Show some vid of the your end of season romps!

I'm actually kind of afraid to post video because the more attention this place gets, the more likely my ability to play will come to an end because of unwanted attention.

So far I haven't seen anyone else playing there but I did see a bike close by the other day, they saw me running around there too. But I'm not sure they may just have though I was turning around (I hope). I'm a fairly clever, resourceful and opportunistic, and to me go the spoils, right bro!?

Changed my clutch fluid yesterday, like Vic's mine is a new '13. Old fluid looked dark, didn't smell burnt or bad but didn't look good. Flushed out the system with new fluid and bled it to be sure of no bubbles. Didn't change the shifting any, clutch either disengages or doesn't, but wanted to get rid of the bad looking fluid. I'm fairly sure the clunking is just ordinary clutch drag and that isn't going to go away, not as bad as a couple of Beemers I've had so I can live with it, my other two ZXs did the same thing so not worried.
