My daughter races a ZX14 with the Stock Swingarm. She launches at 3000 and shifts at 10,000. You will hit the rev limiter at about 10,750 so shifting at 10,000 leaves a bit of cushion. Also, forget about using the clutch when shifting... just blimp the throttle and make the shift at the same time. This will save your clutch and reduce your ET greatly. If you are on a stretched bike you can leave at 5000 but it really is not needed if you are 200 lbs or less.

Also, you must be butter smooth with the clutch and don't be concerned about riding the clutch out. You will soon figure out the ratio/rate between releasing the clutch and throttle application to get your best 60ft. time.

Best ET 9.28
Best mph 157
