When you sold the H2, you incurred a 13k loss. Now you're getting a new H2 GT which is slightly detuned H2. You will then spend 5k to try and bring it's performance to match H2. You'll be lying if you say otherwise.

However the H2 GT wont have the punch of the H2, so you will sell H2 GT and buy the H2.
If you kept your H2 and bought Rook a new zx14R, you would still be ahead.

Man, I'm looking at that H2 and really liking it. If I had more $$ I might go and do something about it. I really can't even afford 9,000 but if somehow Monty would have let it go for that price, I would have grabbed it. That's the unfortunate reality I live in. A bike has to be dirt cheap before I can buy it. Maybe things will change in the near future.
