Recently got my alarm in the mail. BIke shop wants more than i want to give them to install. Guys at the electronics store want to keep my bike for two days and need to find pictures on the internet to figure out how to install it. Aint happening.
Searched internet and found installs for every bike but the zx 14. I was a stereo installer so the wiring part is not a problem. Its location of the hard ware. I cant find a thing about where to put all the shit. So i ask you, oh brothers of the Zx14 tribe, kawasaki clan, help me mount my alarmith for peace o' the mind.
Yes, if the want it they can find a way to get it. Its just to keep the honest folks honest.

What brand of alarm is it?

As much as ya hate to-a pic would be nice.There's a spot right in front of the seat latch mechanism under the seat pan where the California Models have their fuel canister.That spot might work?I've got an Aerostich Tire repair kit right there-it's not exactly small.Fits good though.

Alarm is an Internatrix tw 1000.
Blue I was looking at that spot when i first took the seat off. Wasnt sure about the clearance though. Still not sure where to put the siren or the perimeter sensor. gonna have to call internatrix about that one. On their web site they bragged about their customer service....imma put them to the test.

How big is the alarm?

My alarm is mounted under the seat in front of the latch I will snap of pic of it tomorrow.

pull out the battery. there is a empty area next to it that is big enough to hold a second battery!

Got it installed and it did go into the battery compartment. As soon as i figure out how to put up pictures, yall will see the end results. Thanks for all the input.

I installed an Internatrix TW-400 on my busa...I put everything in the tail. The busa has enough room under that hump to store a small suitcase worth of stuff lol. I put a scorpio on my 14...I removed the toolbox and put it there. My 14 is a cali model and has the charcoal cannister so no room for the alarm up front But I've since removed the cannister for my turbo, and put the toolkit there lol. Screwy aint it
