I am looking for a good pair of riding pants (not leather)for casual riding to and from work in the cold to mild climate. something for 50 to 70 degrees. I already have hot weather pants that i usually put long johns under in the cold. Suggestions and experiances with any?

Aerostich has their arborwear pants (with knee aromr) that are pretty decent.

How much are you willing to spend?I bought the Scorpion AWE pants-PERFECTO.Great fit, stylish,plenty tough.They'll keep ya warm-I rode in 10 below(that's wind chill factor)for several hours-NO PROBLEMO.Best pants I've ever owned.WAY COMFORTABLE.Bought the Shock jacket to go with em.EXCELLENT combo-honestly.

I was looking up to $150. Those Scorpions look nice quality. i was looking at some alpine stars, Joe Rocket, Icon, and Feild Sheer.

You'll REALLY like Scorpions.I got rid of all my other pants and jackets.They also feature a zipper on the back that attaches to the Scorpion Jackets.No sewing required!.Only thing about the AWE pants-no rear pockets-but that's okay.And no "cargo pockets" either.Totally custom fit though,and comfortable.Leather in the Knees and butt.Fits like a suit-I love em'!!

So the scorpions dont have any pockets?

The AWE pants look awesome but a little to expensive for me. I do like these scorpions though.
