SUB-forum:

The beast is going to rest in the forest and no one is going to hear the tree fall on those 14's slow old.
The beyond beast is the new girl in town and she blows sweet nothings in your ears.

She has her flapper slappers outside they baseball card up you get one of them warmed up.
She holds her breath her chest snuggles your cheeks and you make a sound like an idiot get on it.

There is an air about her and a whoosh of sent passes your nose and it's she nail number VP T4.
There is a glitch in her step they reversed her stepper motor rotor floater.

They gathered together to yank your crank and a huff and a puff she will make no mistake.
They shoved that SUB so far upa yo ass you have reversengineering to find and kick their collective ass.

I'd like to see the site have the H2 owners show up. Photos, mods, etc. It would be nice to know the glitches to that bike. The praise/complaints. You know they are going to be drag raced. Some will be trackday'd. They probably shot a few to whoever is the real deal having a program for pikes peak, who knows? So the racing bikes plus the street bikes on utube showing up... 'The Hand' gets his hands on one... Gonna be fun!

Interesting factoid: there is a rousing debate on LABUSAS.ORG regarding the H2. Someone opined that shaft driven finals were limited to 150mph.

I'm familiar with shaft drive components and the operating theory. I'm assuming if the opinion is true then KHI must've compensated with a slightly different design?

huh? the H2R is chain drive. If the street model is shaft drive, that's one more reason not to buy one. Why would they make a bike like that and put a drive shaft on it?

Gear driven like a connie model? Sounds like an old man model no more lubing ever 300mi, which I'm old enough to like.

I know, I know. It's clearly chain driven like the Ducati.

The point was I've never heard of an upper limit to shaft driven finals and I wanted to see if anyone else had some input.

Cool bike, but worthy of all this hype... touted as the replacement for the 14, bla, bla, bla...
Don't think so!
14 Nation is a ride ethic, not a bike bought. I'll wage money on a Nation rider over the HP2 any day. S

Less weight = Better fuel mileage.
More HP = Trellis, pump, and the bump, if any in the case weight is not as heavy as a 14 frame no way.
Top Model = Phases out the 14, so long, goodbye old model.
New Era = Fierce if not fast acceleration is I want to get away from the fender and this is even quicker doing it.

You don't seriously think that the h2 is EVER gonna get the following the 14 has enjoyed do ya Hag?Cold day in hell when ya see lines of H2's setup nice and purty like some of the 14 pics we've seen here. The 14's an ICON.Obsolete?Only if you believe itLOL!!!!Kawi's rollin the dice on this one...that's why they only produced a certain amount. And not all out full on production. They KNOW this H2 has but one real niche.....the 14 does it all...amazingly well as you know for her size.Cheer up!We're here to stay...

That one pic with like 15 zx14R's all lined up...priceless....and that's just ONE teensy group somewhere. They're all over the states(and the world) like that....the 14/14R has been a HUGE success.Over every age bracket.Winning titles.Strutting it's stuff.Layin to waste all comers with inferior bikes(which is basically...ALL).Suzi's.Yammi's.Hondas.You name it...the 14 has held it's own and then some. There aint ONE off brand bike out there that can claim what the 14 has done over the years...ride quality.Performance.Technology.Maybe she don't carve as quick as a 600 or 1000...but try riding any of those bikes to 'the next' rodeo....hundreds of miles a day.No one can match a 14 for this(and did I say...CARVE?The 14 carves just fine)Look at that guy Yellowwolf with his HONDA GOLDWING on Youtube. You don't think a skilled 14R/14 rider can carve with a 14 better than him?...PFFFFT!).And come back barely breathin hard...if at all...ready to go some more. The 14 ROCKS...they'll still be producing the 14 in upgraded fashion 10 years from now.

The H2's a fine bike.Truly GREAT engineering. But limited.Had they designed it with a larger audience in mind...made it a bit bigger for ergos...then yeah...it could replace the 14 possibly...probably.But it wasn't designed for that.Never intended for that. It's a test. For the future zx14...that's really what it is.The 14 SELLS.That H2....I don't see it coming anywhere NEAR the sales of 14's.EVER.But you put all that tech into a 14....gonna fly off the showroom floors...tell ya that. And Kawi KNOWS this.

You're not gonna spit THAT hook out , Montana.

I reeled you'inn.

;)

I'm with you, though. I loves mah Ninjee and there's no fooking way I'll fit on an H2. If push comes to shove you and I can take my Pappy's Ruffie up to Romes and have him install 6 psi boosters and put us back on top of the heap.

Hell, we might even grab Hub and his fishing pole. I'm sure he'll look after my pups while we harass Double R.

H2 Mod Sub-form first time modders:

"I just had to polish my centriffy and wouldn't you know it I removed the screens and a chunk when down the engine. I caused a stress crack."

"I took my air cleaner off and would dent you know it, a big gust of wind went by as I went 200mph into that cloud, and now my centriffy looks dull gray like it took a sand blast to it. Lucky I had enough oil to smoke my way home the screens saved nothing from entering... and I fouled a plug 3 miles back before closing the garage door, cough-cough."

"I removed my centriffy's 130,000rpm chain, since I was removing my drive chain; two birds and all that; here are my bench number stretchers."

"I screwed my sub-throttle plates out no problem. It hits the limiter when I start it. I drop it in first gear it's so loud!? Should I let the clutch lever out?"
