New seat cover
01/31/11 12:59 PM

I just dropped my seat off at the upholsters to get my seat re done. I was going to do it myself but I figured that by the time I brought the staple gun and the leather I would be into it for more then I wanted to pay. He is going to add a layer of cushion for me before and recover the seat with red alligator skin. I hope it looks good. I will post pictures when I get it back.

Welcome MrLawman...okay...I'm assuming here that you are in law enforcement?(which is cool BTW)...but I gotta ask...WHAT are you going to do with a motorcycle that does 0-60 in just over a second, with a top speed of...186?I mean...truly...I think EVERY motorcycling peace officer SHOULD ride a 14 at least a few times...but....HOW in the heck do you intend to "not break the sound barrier"...70 is gonna feel like 45 to ya pretty darn soon.

blue I feel you. Don't tell anyone but I have already maxed it out more then once. Yes I am in Law Enforcement but when I am on my bike I am a riddddder. Be sides you can't stop what you can't catch. when I ride hard I am just a blur when I pass one of my buddies. lol

Well shi^!"can't stop what ya can't catch"...geez my man...that might get YOU off of a serious speed fine...us mortals here would have a hard time tryin to get by with that one!

Good to know however that even in the Force, there're guys who actually "understand".More than ya think...I've been let off the hook a couple of times.Course,I wasn't blastin at 186...but I was breakin the speed limit by an appreciable amount.Tryin to explain to an officer that's never been on a bike like these...tellin em"I actually didn't realize I was goin that fast"(truth)doesn't mean much.

Black I will have the picts up soon. When I get my seat back on Fri I will post them then. And Blue I dont drive like that all the time. I try to stay around the speed limit notice i said try but it is hard when you have a bike like this. That is why I am so forgiving when I see a fellow ridder doing his thing.
