Picked up my ZX about a month ago. I've ridden several different types of bikes by several different manufacturers and I have to say that I truly LOVE this bike! For my style of riding, size & "wants" of a bike, this is IT for me! I never liked the '07 or '08 color schemes of the ZX, but this year's SE edition is THE most awesome paint job I feel they have done!

I am the father of 4 & I ride every chance I get (which means mostly to work & home). I try to make it down to Thunder Beach in Panama City, FL every year & hope to make it to the Dragon this season with one of my Busa buddies. I'm not a DIEHARD Kawasaki man or a Suzuki man. I've ridden both the Busa & ZX; for me the ZX is more comfortable, but the BUSA is hella-raw power that is fun in it's own right. I've got friends that ride just about every make, model & style of bike. If you're on two wheels, as far as I'm concerned, I will wave & be friendly. Stop at the same place & I'd be more than happy to stop & talk and make a new friend. The road is big enough for all types of bikes & riders in my opinion.

Welcome. My use sounds like yours. I have many kids like you, and so commuting is mostly it. I had opposite reaction to you on the colours. I just love the 08 sapphire, I had to chase down almost the last one in the country, just before the 09s were available. I'm not so keen on the 09 colours. each to their own. It's nice to be amongst folk who enjoy the bike as much as I do.

Russty - you're right it is all a matter of preference. But seeing as I am a Texas Longhorn fan - I just could pass up the chance on a Burnt Orange ZX! The coloring is perfect & of course...the FASTEST!

Hola 4Bar2 We/I at the Tucson sport bike Gp. Think much like you do if you are on two wheels thats good enough for us....I just picked up my brand new 06 ZX 14. So welcome! if ever your in the Tucson area look me up... my riding partner has an 09 same as yours. we are all ways good for hot beer and cold coffee LOL and good riding roads.
