Hey Meb,
I'm the sort of guy that will not use something on my bike unless I'm very sure all is okay.
After the mods I made, the mirrors and extenders aren't going anywhere as the are very securely mounted.
I was just trying to make the point to all that it should not require any modification or extra time and work to mount such a simple additive.

Regardless of what I use, I don't think I would ever stop checking over my shoulder.
I want to see what's there with my own eyes rather than a reflection before I make any moves on my bike.
But hey, if it works for you...

Lastly, I have noticed little if any didderence with the new mirror extenders and lane splitting.
