Romans: The catch tank was for the oil return out of the turbo. It did'nt work so I removed it.

Yep, I know but i want to install one on the crank case vent tube. Pic of the one you have would be sweet

Hi Romans, yep still grafting away(working) not really any time to do too much, bike is running just about ok but I think since the weather turned and its now around freezing point it needs a winter map, seen it diving to around 18afr.....not good dont know if its just the changes that i have accepted or if there is a problem with the pump or piping....
Had a few issues I damaged the front right disc with a disc lock ......dam those things ,Ive had it 20 years and never caused me a proble then in the space of 6 weeks tried to ride away with it on(once in France and one time left it at Gatwick airport overnight) so had one knackered disc/warped and one broken front mudguard...........GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I was onto Power commander in Vegas last night as I have never been able to view playback on the LCD screen, they gave me some more info and checked things out. so I just need to try it again but its white outside this morning.....

I was going to get it on the dyno but a couple of things cropped up.

Other than spending a bit of time on the family buisness ive not had too much time to work on the bike, it does need a good strip . clean and re work of some items so its good for next summer.

How are your projects coming along, any further developments or mods done?
I guess the weather is white over and very cold over there?

Poor dog , looks frozen!!!

I wonder where you mounted your oil scavange pump in the end, I ordered one from The infamous DAVE at cyclelogic and guess what ................IT DIDNT COME cheeky bast.... kept saying it was on its way, even had the cheek to place a request for collection on USPS but never actually placed it into thier hands. It was stated on the suposed tracking number that it was a letterGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Wait until i get my hands on him this wont lie forgotten!!!!!!!!!!!!
He even said he was involved in an accident, who gives a F... wheres my pump!
Anyway managed to get my money back through my card! too late to do it through paypal

I know some people have had issues before including yourself but he was always ok with me before

The sooner CYCLELOGIC motorsports goes bust the better!!!!!!!!

Sorry bit of a rant but where did you mount your scavange pump please.......Im going to put one on mine ..
Cheers Grin

I would veru much appreciate a picture or two.:)
I have seen a few small turbo oil scavange pumps on various sites, I need to try and find the one I found a year or so ago1 it was cheap and just the same as other proper pumps i had seen.
Thanks again

Io got some good newe for you guys. But first thing, Grin please if you get hold of Dave give him one for me as well. I had the same problem with him when I orderd my scavenger pump from him. After 2 months i finaly got it in the post and gess what..... The pump was to small and could'nt keep up with the outlet of oil out the turbo and ended up blowing out the exhaust. I managed to get a bigger better one here in South Africa that works much better!!! Its got a 14mm inlet and outlet and works sharp.

Okay now to come back to the exiting part lol. Tne result for the dyno is out..... Drum role...... 240hp and 250nm @ 0.6bar pressure. We had a bit of a problem with the TC, even with it switched off we still got alarms and ecu and tc lights flaching on the dash. We managed to get the bike maped through this.

I put the bike back together and I'm so happy its not looking the same outside by me as by you guys lol. Took it for a ride and BLOWN away by the power!!!

I dont have my Shinko on the back so had the back wheel spinning out a lot! I went to a quiet piece of road to have a go and se what she will launch like. Holy F#*k its awsome! The wheel was spinning in 1, 2, 3 and 4th gear.

Now i cant for my first race on the 29th....

Will post a pix to see what she looks like

Funny that my C in C has put a stop to all my activities with the bike until after christmas too!!
I still a Mocal rear diff pump but its massive, cant put that on..........
Do you reckon you can get the white one you showed in the same place or would it have to go underneath?

Spoedniq , nice peice of kit you have there! glad you got the electronics sorted, im sure its good to have TC ...do you use it on the road much or is it just a track bike??
Is there anything particular that you have found on the new model that is specific to that one!

Ive done about 4500 miles on mine this year but its time to give it some TLC, oil pump, air filter clean, oil change check plugs, continue with mapping and further look at map sensor on the engine side of the throttles, dyno in spring when its not so cold etc etc

Season greetings to one and all

Grin

Romans: Thanks she is a bute!!! I dont know i must have got itwrong some where..... The reg works fine under boost she is at say 40psi and in boost she is about 78 all most 80psi. So the fuel press is not a problem :-)
I'll take a pix fpr you guys when i load her up today as im off on holiday, taking a looong drive (+/- 1800km) to go and race the last event of the year in Cape town.
I have to say im happy with all the work i put into she! Now its just to master all that power!!!

Grin: Thanks, I see the TC batles to hold up, i took a drive inthe week and practise some pull offs. The bike was wheel spinning is 1,2,3 and 4 gear. I was thinking my cluch was shot but then i saw the 4 black stripes on the road lol.
I use her for boath, its my "toy" lol, race days she is the drag bike and other weekends she is my road bike. I must admit i hav'nt had he so much on the road. She only had 2350km on the clock when we put her on the duno. Im hoping to enjoy her much more now since she is done.
I wound be able to say much as this is my first 14 i own. I was playing around with a GSXR1000 before this(managed to get it donw to a 9.356s with just a head job on it) so im hoping to get into the 8s soon......

If we dont chat again i would also just like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and all the best for the new year coming with lots of good runs.

Take care and God Bless

Regards
Jaco (akaspoedniq)
