I'd like to take some off your hands but I'd need to repaint which would mean those fairings would need to go dirt cheap. Already tried another member and he hasn't responded to my offer so I'll just save it. Be perfect if you get a buyer who wants 07 white and takes all.

Someone to take all would definitely be ideal. What parts would you be interested in Rook? I have had these sitting around for long enough I would likely take a reasonable offer.

I would likely take a reasonable offer.

I see a scuffed up set for $70 free shipping on Ebay right now with emblems and lights.

Coloright rattle cans, primer, MMS Blue, clear coat +180 $.

Used tail fairings, $70.

Time, unpredictable results, color match? $250

New set, factory paint, perfect $350.

See where I'm coming from? You'd have to go so low it wouldn't be worth your while. I might take the lowers and foremans (either color) and maybe the ram air covers and seat cowl which would increase your total but it's still going to be a lot less than a guy who needs your color.

can't compare Chinese to OEM . The Chinese crap gets brittle after a few years of heat and fall apart .

Thanks for the tip 1bad. I meant $350 for a brand new set of OEM tail fairings, only.

I've heard worse horror stories about some Chinese fairings. Nearly new and blowing off at high speed. Some people are happy with them though.

I do see your logic Rook. Repairs or repaint also costs you time and effort and our time has a value too. However I would likely take $600 for the whole lot. Possibly less if the buyer is far enough away that shipping might make it worse. The whole kit was on eBay with a Buy It Now at $750.

My Chinese fairings have been amazing, FWIW. They fit every bit as good as the originals and every single time I ride people get their phones out to take pics/vids.

Now, if only someone would buy my OEM fairings to get them out of the damn garage... I've set the price all the way down to 550 shipped.. jeeze.. I just want my garage space back.

Check here for the most popular rides.
http://www.ozarksontwowheels.com/ride-resources/ride-maps/

It depends on where you are staying but there are hundreds of miles of good roads with tight twisty areas and also some long flowing smooth roads too.
I recommend Jasper, Peel Ferry and Mark Twain as listed on the above website for day long rides with the best of everything. The Peel Ferry takes you across a lake from Missouri to Arkansas and its a drive on drive off arrangement that is free.
Almost anything from Harrison Arkansas west to Eureka Springs will be great and then loop south to Jasper for a great day out. Great food in Eureka and Jasper too.
I should be around the area about that time. We are returning from europe on the 9th. PM me for contact info.

Don't miss Arkansas 16. Missouri 125 north of Peel Ferry is a hoot, too. If you're staying around Eureka Springs, ride down the Pig Trail and over to Oark for lunch.

@GPfan

I got them from BlissStar on eBay. He was extremely responsive to every request or email I sent him, too. I requested pearlizer to be added to some of the colors, requested they try their best to match my 2006 candy thunder blue tank (they did a phenomenal job working from photos), and also requested an extra layer or two of clearcoat. The fairings were a little snug in areas, but in the end that meant that the fit was actually tighter than my oem fairings were - everything lined up perfectly with one exception: the black plastic piece that goes under the cowling wasn't fitting quite right, so I just used my original one and all was well. To be fair, I didn't even realize they were including those pieces.

The guy also sent me multiple pictures of everything before shipping to make sure I was happy. There was one small area that got messed up in shipping, but not enough to make anyone notice or make me care. It also came with multiple rear fairing pieces (the "v" shaped piece looking from behind) that were slightly different; not sure if it was for different seat-types or if there were slight variations in the models, but nice that they included them all. Also, a complete set of new bolts and rubber grommets, and a tinted windscreen. I got the "Captain America" style and ride around with a captain america helmet and shield-backpack. Not a single day goes by where I don't have someone whip out there phone for pics or video. Everyone who sees it thinks I paid 2k for it. I decided I would sell my original fairings because if they don't hold up I'll just buy 'em again.

I've had them on there about 8 months or so in the California sun and they still look perfect. I used special uv-resistant boat wax on them the first few times just in case and make sure to wash/wax religiously to protect them from the sun.

It was really bright, so the colors look weird and overexposed in one of these pics, but I'll let you guys judge how the chinese fairings look :)

Now if I could just sell my old ones to get the space they're taking back from my garage! I'm selling them for peanuts, dammit!

You should see it with the "battle-worn" edition of the Captain America backpack shield and the HJC Captain America Helmet... the only thing I'm waiting on now is the Captain's motorcycle jacket from eBay (with full armor), lol. Kids absolutely flip out... I'm about 6'5" and I've had at least 3 occasions where a little kid says something like, "Mommy, is that really Captain America!? He's so big." Heh.
