I happened to remove the ram air tube cover on the clutch side of the bike to tighten up a screw to a bracket...was surprised to find a PCV Ignition Module...purchased the bike in 2013 and the seller may have mentioned it, but my mind was over crowded with a million complaints from the wife over me getting it that I probably missed the info...BUT, it's there and i never knew it...Does it work independently?...only asking because i really don't know much about it, and the maps, etc..

Is it a PC5+Ignition or is it an Ignition Module?

If it is plugged inline with your throttle bodies subharness, it's a PC5+Ignition and it is working --if it has a map in it.

If it's just an ignition module, I think that needs to be connected to a PC5 to work. It also plugs into the stick coil subharness lead as well as a couple other wire taps if it is enabled to do things other than just adjust ignition.

Thanks Rook...it's a PC5 Fuel Injection Module...my mistake for putting 'Ignition' in the title...dude in the video you posted also said ignition module...when i get a chance, i'm going to pull the side fairings off to see if there's anything else connected somewhere...

hehe--but that video is about the ignition module, not the PC5. Looks similar but not the same thing.
