First round mods are done!
06/13/12 10:30 PM

Took the 14 on a short trip with me to Orlando for 3 days. Packed up the tank bag and tail bag and off we went. It was only 90 miles away but it was a good test on how much you can pack in those bags and how hard it might be to do some overnight or 2 day trips with it. I have my Vision for longer stuff but really wanted to take the 14 since we were going to be displaying the bike at our conference (IT stuff, bike happens to be the same as our company color).

So First round mods were mostly all comfort related:
Buell Pegs
Grip Puppies,
Throttle Lock
Phone Holder
GPS holder
Heli Block 3/4" risers
Green LED's
12V powerlet

Here are a few pics
All torn apart for LED install, this thing has lots of pieces

Some of the new wiring carefully following the stock wiring harness

LED's done:

Bike on display at our Event. It was HUGE success. Everyone loved it, you'd thought we parked a Ferrari out there or something, so many compliments on the 14

The other mods:
Throttle lock:

Phone and GPS

12V powerlet down on the front fairing mount, perfect fit and from the top you can't even hardly see it

Home from O Town with the 14 all packed up

Double Bubble gets ordered Friday trying to decide between Puig or Zero Gravity in dark tint and the new Corbin seat should be here in another week or so! When those 2 are done longer rides should be no problem. I've done a bunch or round trips to Orlando (about 180 miles round trip) and aside from a little monkey butt from the lousy seat it's great!

Wow not a single comment... I thought the LED's looked sweet too... Just added a Corbin seat and that is money well spent!

yeah that mod costs way over MSRP, depreciates quickly and will suck your wallet dry. Actually she's one of our partner community girls. They do our shows and events and manage our partner base, she's super cool.

Yeah I have no desire to change out the exhaust yet. I really like the look to be honest and it makes enough noise and definitely goes fast enough for me.

I rode the bike to Orlando and had it packed up with tailbag/tankbag, no room for the stock cowl on this trip and I wasn't strapping the bag to the cowl...

And yeah I really don't mind the exhaust I think it's just fine, definitely better than some other stock systems out there...
