Whoa...

Just watched a little on the Navy Seals BUD's hell week.
I reckon even in my prime I wouldn't have lasted 2 seconds!

Special breeds...

Anyone who says anything negative about these institutions and those within them, especially considering these hero's protect citizens while they sleep, should be made to renounce their citizenship...

I've been lucky enough to work with a few over the yrs and got to know one guy pretty good early in my career. He was one of the nicest most helpful guys I ever knew. Always trying to help everyone do a better job and make sure we looked good. He was old school Vietnam era before all the modern hype. They have incredible toys and tools now that they didn't have in the past. I learned some stuff after he retired about him from another retired USAF general officer that the average person at work would have been known for that this man never talked about.
