Ok, My 09' 14 has a Centec breaker box installed under the seat(Radar Detector and Alarm System) . I decided to hook up a trickle charger. Rather than hook up to the battery, I figured I'd hook the plus to the breaker Pos. terminal and ground to a body bolt.
Sounds easy , RIGHT ?
Well I must have touched something wrong, now I can't get ANYTHING to ground past the midsection of the Bike.
Example:If I run a wire from the Ground terminal on the Centec box to ANY bolt on the Forward portion of the Bike. the Radar Det. comes on.
Also, if I use a testor and hook to the PLUS on the battery, the tester does not light with any contacts past the mid section of the Bike.

Is there something conecting the Front and rear of the bike (ground wise)

Keep it simple, my usual solution is to SPEED DIAL the dealership....

Hub, I don't think it's the Centec Box.

If I touch my tester to the + terminal on the battery it will light when I touch the other testor wire to ANY ground forward of the center of the Bike. If I touch it to any ground bolt or metal past the center of the Bike, NOTHING.
It's almost as if the rear FRAME isn't grounding to the rear. WEIRD

I'll check the Centec grounds again. And then totally disconnect it and check my grounds again.
