I checked all those links and nothing. I can't believe this is so hard on a bike like this.

Obviously you don't like the Schitz exhaust hanger. That flat hanger doesn't look like it would support the muffler from moving laterally much at all.

Schiz doesn't make them anymore, nor does their supplier.

Damn! I think we had this conversation in the pst. I see they still offer them but I'm sure you checked with Schnitz and TwoWheelWorkz.

I enjoy making parts but by the time I'm done, I could have bought 5 or 6 at the going rate if you figure a small hourly wage for my time + materials and sometimes a tool or two. For this, if you want it that bad, you could make it...and that might be why the manufacturer waits for several orders. I like the bent plate over the flat one with the spacer for the muffler bracket bolt.

You make a cardboard mockup and copy that on an aluminum plate, you can heat the aluminum with a torch or gas range and bend it as easy as lead. Sheet metal pliers work great for this. The metal stays soft for about 10 minutes even after it cools down. No stress cracks. LOL still be a full days work for me to get it perfect!

It was seriously an hour Rook at zero cost. Traced the factory foot rest holes position onto some aluminum plate I had, did some rough measurements and laid out the pattern. Cut it out and bent it between two steel 'L' bars in my vice. Fit, bent, fit, bent a few times then drilled the holes and painted.

I'd go with that and if it's not good enough, just order one when they are available. FCOL, you could probably get a welder to whip up a copy for what they cost from webike

Don't pay 123 for the Vater Moto one. It's made of steel and I bet weighs almost twice as much as the OEM bracket.

Buy a used OEM bracket off ebay, cut off the passenger footpeg. Paint where you filed. That looks cool is lightweight, reliable and probably cost you $10. here's one for 12 and free shipping.

Or take it in to a welder and show him the 2WW hanger. Tell him to copy so it fits like the OEM bracket. He should be able to do that for a couple hundred bucks or less---if that's the only damned way you can get one.

Carbon exhaust hanger is the only way to go unless you are making your own..

Never heard of that one but that sure seems like it would be the lightest and the price is good too considering you get one for each side. I paid $60 for my alum one. Notice it is made after you order again though.

I bought the carbon one from Magical, it was $130 shipped for the right side only and should take 6 weeks.

Well worth it. If you have more $ than time, I see no reason to fab something that you can buy and the CF will be a nice unique touch.
