Of course I had to put some green on them!!!So far it seems like I've got alot more flickability and a little more get up and go!

I also have Marchesini's except my are gold.Big difference in side to side,go factor and stopping power.Love them.Love the green color-very nice.

Weight savings.....I weighed the stock wheels with everthing on them before I switched everthing over.Front wheel with brakes and tire 27 pounds,rear 33.Got the tires mounted and put the brakes back on....front 23 and rear 31.Not as much as I thought but I can definatly feel it riding.These are the forged aluminuim ones.
My next mod is getting the HUB for my PCIII and getting 2 maps for it.

Nice ride! and it looks like your avatar is a picture of on top of the BEARTOOTH!!!! I ride it every year! Coming out again in August but were going to Glacier from Billings and back!

The side panel and the whole bike rocks I love my green machine also they just glow i nthe sun and look great at night .
Rims are sweet .
Did the side panels cost and were the yhard to paint ?
I cont do the rims soon and I kinda like black with a green strip for rims

The side panels are the stock one's and there not to hard to paint.Just took me about an hour to tape the grill's off.And the rims I painted too!Just takes time!!!!

Sounds like fun! I rode to Cody last year from Bozeman through the park. Then went up the Chief and over the Beartooth back to Billings! Awesome ride! I just purchased an '09 Black/Orange ZX-14, the one in the picture is my friend's Black '07. Glad to part of the ZX-14 Nation! I haven't got enough miles on it (14) yet to make a fair comparison to my previous Hayabusa's but I'm sure I will love this ride!

Just a quick revisit on the weights here.

The stock zx14 rear wheel assembly with the stock brake rotor
and stock steel sprocket is close to 38 lbs... maybe 0.2 lbs. off.
I've had this number verified by many people on the 14 forums.

My rear gsx-r rear wheel assembly is roughly 32.5 lbs and that's with
a 190/ 55 rear tire wich is around 0.5- 1 lbs. heavier than a 190/ 50

FYI the Marchesini forged aluminum set for the zx14 is almost 3 lbs.
lighter than the Carrozzeria set and around $500 more expensive.
