I performed the pair valve bock off on the 14R by plugging up the hose that leads to the underside of the airbox on the left hand side. When I was in there and doing some inspecting I noticed a hose on the right hand side of the airbox which was disconnected from the hole leading to the airbox. Of course I placed it back snuggly, however, when I searched the manual to find out what it was and its purpose I came up with nothing.

Can anyone help me out and tell me what's the purpose of this hoes?

Left side hose up the air box = ISCV (idle speed control valve)
Right side hose up the air box = PAIR (pure air in route)?

PAIR: Burns unspent with filtered air and leans out the pipe to show a 16:! AFR or there about.
Disable PAIR: The AFR out is 14.2 AFR, which is rich and will build carbon up into the cat, choke flow, no power.

ISCV: This takes a vacuum valve, 4 hoses off each throttle body, the air box hose taking clean air, because of the hoses entering the intake side to determine idle.

Thanks hub, but I thought the left side hose(clutch side) was the pair valve hose on the 14R? On the 14 the pair valve hose is on the right(brake side). Correct?
