Thought I'd say Hi & join in. Been looking around at different forums and this one looks like a great group, being 53 seems more my age group round here and I like the way the forum is layed out.... Been a long time Kawi fan with a 73 H3 500 triple being my first ride...from there an 84 GPZ1100, 99 ZX9, 97 ZX11 and just recently an 08 ZX14.
Traded in the 11 cause at 605 lbs I was tiring of it...sweet bike but the 14 being 485 lbs looked much better. All I can say is wow !!! this thing makes me laugh when I crank on it... the term " stupid fast " was no joke... loving the bike for sure. I went back and forth on this or a Busa...I had a 750 Gixxer and it was a sweet bike... Just couldn't get into the looks of the Busa...Its a face only a mother could love.
I scored this from a Ebay dealer and he took mine in trade.I watched for like 5 months and figured I'd take a ride and check it out.. Once I seen the condition of this one I bought it... damn mint for sure.. being a gearhead at heart I'm resisting throwing parts at it for the moment... but this Winter is another story.
