I believe Kruz you might be jumping to conclusions about the weight diff of 160lbs for starters. Liters theoritically equal 14s in the quarter for a couple runs till you fry the clutch trying to get the high geared low torque bikes going. Also liters will run with a 14 after 50 well line two up let the clutch out and hit it what happens? The other thing is the 14s increase to 65mm Busa has 65mm how high can it reliably rev to?

I don't need a fire breather. If she runs better than my present baby...that'll be fire enough for me!Mine does great for everything but the tightest twisters.(I'm talkin U-turn twisters).Anywho...an increase in torque(it won't be incredibly big)will be good, but I'm suggesting a nice 'makeover' to that 1441.I think she's gonna surprise everyone.I would say....with so much hype that's gone on over the BigBike wars...Kawi's gonna put a bike out that's going to fairly easily pass 200.I really think so this time around. This could possibly be THE LAST of the BigBikes drama. This may be the last one Kawi puts out. There's no word from Suzuki...they may have dropped out already.

Being 6'2"/240, I'm about as scrunched as I want to be, so I'm glad to have the big supersports as an option. (For me, the Zx-14 was really the only option, as the busa has oddly tight ergo's for it's size.) If I were a smaller guy, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a liter bike.

THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU! Draw it out. I don't know if you draw out the thank you or draw that next 'big unit' 'top flight' 'nasty one' "top this model!"

If Kawi listens at all, better peg prog and me on the next clay top model or for sure, I shit on a busa and I sense the 'progrock'? Dis dem bones, day dismount, day gonna jump on a better 'ergo' bike.

Well I haven't committed to one either.Just want to see how much more 'refined' it is...you know...ride one...check out the smoothness, power uppage is okay with me...but I'm not really needing any more 'power'.If it rides better than mine...then there's a pretty good chance I will trade up.Otherwise...mine is very okay with me.I really think she's gonna be a SWEET big bike.Faster than ours now...and some very cool tweaks with the electrics and all. Most likely handle more in line with a 1000.That's what I think.I think they managed to shed a good amount of weight off their new Flagship as well.

I think it's cool that some like blue are considering trading up. If I hadn't bought a showroom 2010 a couple of months ago, I'd be at the front of the line. I'm not envious, but I am relieved to see that the new bike is evolutionary, and won't render ours obsolete.

Sorry, Romes, there will always be guys/some gals, like me. "I wanna ride" is a Honda brand. "I wanna faster bike neck year" is wait for the top of the top model. I do not givashitty who has the world's fastest, I gotta have some gethefolkaway from the phone calls in one hand and the steering wheel in the other kind of bike.

Once the rotation is on... Cash wasting for someone. Problem is, I have not changed speed wise. It is relative. Go run 180 on this rail and let that tell you something about how far man can travel on land all safe as a... Don't you tell me how to ride bike!

Because, if I'm going to be cramped, mother teapot does not make adjustoe-slots, give me a fucking drawing board then!
Because, fuck Q, take a lesson... If I'm going to be cramped even worse with the faster crampissing me off I can't build my own bike/engine con fig between the legs, I'll buy the faster brand so WOT!

I got the fuck out of the way of someone's phone call/hand job/directions/text message/eat me!

Ok,Curious Now, what would be the biggest reason for making the upgrade ?

1. New

2. More Power

3. Electrics

4. Light weight

5. ????????????

Almost thinking my way out of it. I was hoping Hub would have got one in the mean time, then picked apart for 5 Months before I jumped in. Need the Shinny First. C'Mon Hub, Help the brothers out. You always wanted The Fancy New Electrics. What U Say ?

ALL of the above (IF they turn out to be true) - and this one:
5. Reasonable cost to ride away with one!!!!

But I ain't trading up - IF I get one it will be parked BESIDES the "old" one. Got too much time, cash and sweat invested in my baby to give her up now. Besides, it's paid for. I'll just ride one on even days and the other on odds...

I think my 07 as is rides awesomely smooth and strong. It always has.NOW....I can't really imagine a 'refined' rideability...but that's what the Kawi engineers say they've gone after...along with the other things.I'm gonna have to ride one.See how she shifts, rides.I doubt seriously if they've reduced the overall size, which will be fine with me.The bike's size right now are what help it to have the ride quality at speed and such that it does IMO.It's NOT a 600.Nor does it feel like a 600.I wouldn't want that.I said before...the 14 is to the 12 what this new bike will be to the 14 IMO.I can wait.Dealer said "next Summer" anyway. So I'm in no rush.If I HAD to have one...he'd order me one in a heartbeat. They'd deliver it right to my house snow or not.So I'm in no rush. She's gonna be REALLY a beautiful bike...paint wise, fit and finish wise.Style wise.Power wise.Gonna be very cool to check out the upgrades in person though.Nice.I'm stoked. From what I've seen, they haven't ruined any of the styling like they did with the Busa.(just my opinion...the Busa is a fine bike as well).Small design changes...most likely for top end runs. That's what I see.

Romes, It is all about THE, 'top model' when it comes to the philosophy of the sinsei. There is a Rossi behind the drawing board over there. That will be the next top prize is to sit on the next nasty ride he becomes team leader and makes bike from scratch [pad].

Or really, they us those extra nice T-squares; all X'da Y do you ask? She is getting long in the tooth for sure, no matter the next step of refinement. Suzuki is waiting in the wings and I don't know if shenopshe cord, can pull one out of the octobeerfess up, now Suzuki. WOT/WATT is in store is more tech on that ecu I'm going to take a guess, that it is faster and smaller with more clicks to pop down the road.

Butt being shoved up as we speak; I am finding the ape forum somewatturned around I roll bike down the rampissay we bring on the bigtime tuners there. They do not want to enter the thread. This closed loop business is throwing me for a loop. Man, I thought I blew a grand on the throttle bodies were enough school tuition. This bike is barking at me every time I take it out. I mess with the air bleeds or lick tricks, I got this big assmile; you can't tell if you are looking at my ass or my face.

I wonder how this new engine is gonna be with the "old" chains. And sprockets as well.I don't think the 11,000 lb tensile strength chains are gonna make it as they do now?Course,IF they drop extra weight,say...keep it the same as now with the bigger motor, then they'll probably be fine?
You guys think the headers will be the same diameter at the midpipe? This bike I think is going to start a whole new round of mod builders.I'm not so sure that there's gonna be much in the way of being able to use our aftermarket parts on this new one?I doubt if I'll be able to use my TiForces on this new one.Along with a bunch of other 'small stuff'.

I think Kawasaki is playing this very well. They're going to sell A LOT of earlier models 14's with this new one coming out.The die hards are gonna want this new bike to tweak and ride and mod.But the falling prices already for the latest zx14's are gonna draw in a lot of fence-sitters.They win both ways!

17K for a connie? That is a leftover price. I said, when are the paper brochures due? He goes, that might be a problem over there printing. It should be on line by toes day. Because on monday, the dealers in florida will be shown on monday. So wait for tuesday on your toes until Kawi sites it up on their end!

And I had my 14 sold 2 weeks ago, took a non-refundable deposit, the guy backed out a few days later, was hoping to sell it so I could focus on the new 14R, oh well! Guess I'm putting bags on my 14 and keep on keeping on! I bet Kruz will get this new bike, and if Tommy was out of the slammer he'd get one too!

What a bummer come Wednesday. It's like you opened up the prize in the cracker jack box, know it's a ring whistle. Nothing else to do but drive the house and neighbors nuts you act like an IAP sensor.

Well, it's the 10th already - at least for me here in Afghanistan and I am very excited to see what the 14R REALLY looks like. As I said, I really hope that this is something special, but again, not holding my breath that it will be anything more than just a mild refresh of an already good thing. However, I was just looking at these photos of the front end of the bike and noticing that the front end looks to be a bit narrower than the current bike, as evidenced by how close the mirrors are together and how large the ram air intake is in relation to the nose. I can't say how big the rest of the bike will turn out, but at least it (the nose) looks to be a bit narrower than before - so I am assuming that it should weigh a little less??? I am only assuming that if they made the front end smaller, they also did something for the rest of the bike or am I still just wishing in the wind? I put a frontal of the current bike in for comparison... Anyhoo - still more waiting, but for my case I actually get to find out AFTER you guys, since the time difference means that I'll be asleep when the first details of the "Phenomenon" are released to you guys back at home... Sometimes living and working in the a-hole of the world really sucks.
