Does anyone know the paint code for the engine cover's paint?

Check ColorRight
They say it's 18R Flat Super Black for frame and swingarm color.
I purchased Color right Flat Super Black in the touch up bottle and it was lacking enough metal flake. It is very important that you do not apply it in a thick layer or it will look plain black instead of a deep grey.
If you test various parts that are painted with this color you will see that they are all different shades. This stuff is applied vey thin and it has an impact own the exact tone.
I was able to make a decent copy with metallic black gloss and flat gray engine paint. Applied from two rattle cans wet on wet. Practice and you'll get it close enough.
Advance Auto has a rattle can called Dupli-color Universal Flat black and it is just about a dead ringer for the frame color but no metal flake at all. It is a deep grey, not black. Has a slight sheen to it like the engine covers.

If they are bad enough scrapes, you might check on the availability of a used clutch cover on Ebay. Probably it will have some blemishes too. The one I bought had been repainted some black color so I just painted it again. New gasket might be necessary too.
