Good call, I had the pwr indicator lit on the pcv, I would've been chasing my tale on that one. Thanks again. Maaan!! these Dual CT sound good!! If your wonder what the out burst is about I've just completed a lot of installs on my bike and this was the first time I got to here my new exhaust sound off.

Glad you're up and running again! And no thanks are necessary; I've seen at least ten different people complain about PC failures and its always been a bad ground. Don't use the coolant recovery bottle mount like the instructions say... its a bad location for a ground.

Oops! That's the ground I'm currently using! I initially used the ground location in in Rooks tutorial ( PCV Install). What's the preferred location?

Well... with what you've just posted, use the location that is currently working. I had assumed your first attempt was the bottle mount. If it cuts out again I would find a better ground first.

Neither the coolant bottle or subframe mount point worked for me.
I ran a ground wire from the main frame earth point on RH side to PCV ground.
Relunctantly I cut the PCV loop off and used an insulated joiner to my new lead - the PCV wire is to short.
The vids I've seen show for 14R they have fixed that and made it long enough.

I'll do that if and when this ground starts acting up. Thanks guys.

What year is the bike? Is this a blinking F1? Say it does not run after installing. Recheck your connections or remove the pc5 to make sure it's not the pc keeping it from running, or there is code set with it all stock again.

It's 2007 full muzzy exhaust and all connection seem right I haven't double checked the ground. I purchased the bike as is and previous owner said it had a power commander yet when I rode it I heard decel pop and other indicators that PC wasn't working all service codes along with the fault point to the fuel delivery throttle body ect. Bike runs fine with stock harness for throttle body hooked up

So I finally figured out what the problem was
There are two harness connections, one for the factory throttle body male plug to go and the power commanders male end is inserted in to the throttle bodies female end. Like I mentioned I purchased the bike as is so I assumed it was a faculty PC, it turns out the guy I bought it from must've paid to have it installed and never actually knew that it wasn't even connected.
