Called Vista Kawasaki today, was on hold, off hold, on hold, off hold, (you get the picture) several times to find out this screen is no longer available, but they didn't know why. (even though they still list it on their website) The bozo I talked to acted like he had never heard of such a screen and the person he was talking to wasn't any better! Einstein tried to talk me in to ordering something else but I said "no thanks" and hung up, sure wasted that nickel!!!
yannih, thanks again for the link, I appreciate the effort!!!

Mra touring is better than any non mra db. NO buffeting behind my head. Hated that about the puig db. Mra touring is hot in the summertime because it makes a large pocket. Corsa is better for me than the mra touring. For the simple fact of when i am tucked i am trying to look through where the windscreen curves up ad its distorted. It also likes to vibrate at 150+ mph because of the large pocket its creating. For normal people its an excellent choice. I polished the edge of the screen and threw that rubber edging away. If your a non tucker the mra touring is probobly the best its going to get.

GDay Fatsix,
I remember a pic of your blue 14R under the "ZX-14 to ZX-10 Fender Mod" thread.
Just had another look at that pic again and the screen you have is a smoke vented spoiler screen.
Im assuming it's an MRA but looks exactly like the Kawasaki/MRA version.
Is this the Touring screen you advise is hot in summer and vibrates over 150 due to the large low pressure pocket because I thought the two vent holes were designed to disperse the pressure difference?
I agree about the visibility distorsion where the screen raises into the spoiler shape in the tuck and I also trashed the rubber edge lining.
But I have to admit that so far I'm absolutely wrapped with this screen.
Leaves the stock one for dead...
GDay Rtksled,
Yeah, I didn't get much in the way of service from Vista Kawasaki either, but you still have the eBay option if you are still keen and except for the extended delivery time from Germany I can vouch for that option from experience.

No, there is no turbulence in the pocket. The wind hits the lip pretty hard at 150. Stick your hand out above the windscreen, what happens? Same Same. The mra touring does such a good job at creating a good size pocket, i found myself hanging off the bike to try to get some air to my helmet at 75mph and below.
But I have to admit that so far I'm absolutely wrapped with this screen.

Yes it does. I only put the stocker on last summer when it was 90+ because i was tired of my eye balls sweating.
I've also found out that the corsa prefers race helmets with better aero. (Arai Signet-q rattled my eyeballs, Shuberth SR1 didn't)
MRA needs to start selling their windscreens without the black out on the bottom. The 13+ has a meter cover, which i added to my 12. Which is probably why kawi isn't cross referencing it.
Everybody loves pics! (I just love using this antiquated forum software to post pics)

Great pics fat six.
It shows another reason why I chose the spoiler screen over the other options avaiable in that I am not a fan of the look of double bubble and high screens. I know they do the job they are designed for but the spoiler screen still gives the bike a certain amount of sleekness with its relatively low profile compared to others.
Interesting comment about race helmets.
I ride in Shoei X-12's (I have 2) and wonder if that makes any difference with the screen I now have.
Lastly weather has been awful here so still no chance to test at any real speed.

I have always found height and riding position make a huge difference. I'm 6'2" and with the ZG Corsa screen the air catches me around my neckline which is what I prefer. I like to have my helmet in clean air so I don't get a lot of buffeting but that is my personal preference which might not be what someone else likes. I don't have to bend over very far to get behind the Corsa screen and when I do I don't have any distortions to look thru.
fatsix, Thanks for the pics, great job of showing the differences between screens!

Just got back from a track day at Eastern Creek today and my first real chance to test the new screen recently installed on the bike.
Max speed down the main straight tucked in was around 255kms/h.
Huge difference in performance from the stock screen!
No major buffeting or excessive wind noise.
The spoiler shape and venting holes worked a treat.
All this and IMO looks sleek and relatively low profiled compared to most DB's and after market touring screens that sit much higher off the front of the bike.
I am around 6'2" tall an 104kgs in weight and the new screen made a huge difference for me.
I am extremely pleased with this upgraded screen and would recommend it to anyone considering this option.

Quick update.
Just got back from a two day ride and got to just over 280km/h a couple of times.
The new screen was much quieter and eliminated the vast majority of buffering compared to the stock one at these speeds.
Again, I am very happy with this upgrade.

I agree. This screen is simply superior to stock at all speeds. The airflow is much smoother.

Got one after seeing Yannih's post. directly from MRA in Germany. Cost 79 euro.ive tried stock and double bubble and the MRA is far better. At 6 ft and with a pillion I could feel the difference. Definitiley well worth the money.

They're still there as of today. I just got one myself.
EDIT: I guess not. I got the MRA version. Other than the label, it should be the same thing; only cheaper.
EDIT AGAIN: I cancelled the MRA order and am forking out the cash for the Kawasaki one. It looks a little nicer and says Kawasaki on it.

Hey, if anyone wants the MRA version of the touring screen we're talking about, it looks like I'm going to have an extra one. The ebay seller wouldn't cancel my order, so I'm stuck with it.
I placed the order, then submitted a cancellation within minutes of placing it, yesterday. Today, the clown says he can't cancel the order because he shipped it...today. The day after I ordered and cancelled it.p
I'm going to bash him in his feedback at the very least. I might even dispute the paypal charges.
