So a bit of surgery was needed

Finally starting to sort the Traxxion suspension out to my liking.
Roads are so damned buggered around here, the suspension needs to be compliant.

Stock the rear spring is supposed to be a 9.7kg/mm (550lb), the stock setting of spring length is 175mm
Ive backed it of 5mm to 180 and Im barely getting 30mm of sag.
Its feeling much better.

The spring that was in it was a 13.4kg/mm (750lb) and was beating the crap out of me.

Can anybody comment on why the spring rate was so heavy.
Traxxion says its for someone lighter than me (100kg,= 220lb). Go figure???
But I couldnt get any reasonable sag out of it with virtually any preload preload

Todays efforts was around a bit of bling.

Im really not keen on the billet screw cap petrol filler

So I got the OEM on and painted the rim black to match the rest

Dont like the super shorty ASL levers

So replaced them with these black extendable ones

And lastly for today, the Heli risers, but had to make a 20mm spacer for the Hyperpro mount

Anybody interested in trading a red Hyperpro for a black one, or if youre looking for red ASL shorty levers and black billet fuel filler, let me know
