ECU flash???

If you flash your ECU and for some reason need to go back to stock, does this disable the ability for the dealer to scan any issues with the bike???

What I heard in the past is that once it's flashed, the stock data is overwritten in a new computer language. It can be flashed back to stock values but the computer language can never be restored to Kawasaki. I'd ask your dealership if they can do diagnostics on a flashed ECU.

Some owners have purchased a used ECU off of Ebay so they could switch back to 100% stock.

I thought about buying a second ECU but cant find one for a 2022 ZX14R. Thanks for the info Rook.
