I loved being self-employed. The only problem was that I never had any money. I guess if you're in high enough demand, you got the world by the balls.

Test rode a 6th generation ZX-10R. Tuned, air filter, exhaust, etc etc. 200whp. I wanted to get something quick to scratch my motorcycle itch until my turbo 14 is ready... Cant justify 16k for a used bike that needs it's valves checked. Even though it was nice and somewhat fast... the turbo has ruined me.

I think I'm going to wait it out. I bugged the tuner May 3rd. He posted some pictures of a bunch of turbo zx14s getting work started at his shop. Not sure if my bike is included, but I am under the impression it is. He mentioned wanting to do them all at once...

Itching to get it back and finally ride the thing. I forget I even have a motorcycle sometimes until I get asked where the bike is, if it is done yet, someone asks to see it, etc...

That's pert near what a new one costs. I'd much rather ride it a few years and build it myself. ...especially at your age, there's no hurry.

This released last night- already bought one. Got the carbon one of course.

Ram Air block off.

I tried to have one custom made a few times. Nobody could figure it out.

No update on bike

There's a must have for turbo 14s! What company makes it?

It must attach with some kind of adhesive.

I'm no totally sure how it will attach. at the very least it'll need some drilling, adhesive, and silicone to seal it up.

I got it from AGM. Also the owner mentioned a full carbon overtail is in the works... i have been pestering him and the facebook communities about a ram air block off and overtail for a long time. glad i am finally a voice taken seriously. Same situation with the new billet crankcase breather upgrade by AI Machining. There might be a real change in trajectory for the 14's aftermarket-wise after some more time.

Slid it into place on my fairings. It is a snug fit... I'm not going to force this one too hard since it's not even the final version. I was just curious how it fits. Adhesive alone would probably be enough to hold it in place. I imagine the carbon version will look pretty nice next to the carbon headlights and carbon hayabusa front fender.

Very nice Dan! I think I would go CF on the intake block just because it's CF. I mean, if I pay for CF, I want to show it's CF. Matte black looks good while you're waiting for the CF one to be made.

Actually, my feeling on CF replacing plastic is that the cost doesn't justify the minute difference in weight. However, the look of genuine CF gives true cred. CF is super strong and very heat resistant too, way more than plastic.

So you got the headlight inserts in! It looks great! I'll be starting on mine this weekend. I have the upper cowl off. Going with smoked indicators too and deleted the EVAP. Brock's mirror blocks going in as well. Lots of Gen3 tutorials in the works I'll post in How-Tos.

I've got the plastic version myself and was not very happy with the rough finished surface and poor fit in my opinion. I've been in touch with them with multiple pictures and am told to attach it with 3M foam tape. There's no way with the tape around the perimeter it'll go in deep enough as it doesn't now bare. I know if I try to massage it to get it to fully seat I own it if I don't already. Not sure what I'm going to do at this point but I expected more for $120.
You can see the discoloration of my fingertip as I'm pushing it in as hard as I can.

I think the way to clean the finish is the wipe it down with acetone. Do some research though. That should get rid of the surface roughness. Also I think heating it up will let it flex correctly into the hole. I have the Monster brand fairings. No OEM to compare with. Not sure how fitment will differ.

there is not enough lip on the insert to drill a hole (easily) for a nut and bolt or something to secure the piece in place. I might resort to sanding the fairings, applying heat, and trying some kind of adhesive to fuse the fairings and piece. both are ABS

I tried the installation yesterday with the piece untouched. I installed the suggested 3M tape 3/8 wide along the left and right sides of the fairing. I then attempted to push it into place and it cracked in two places along the stitching of the 3D printer. I sent AGM a couple of photo's just as an advisory and got a reply a few hours later. He's going to make me another with a different printing method at no charge. I really didn't expect to get anything and am thrilled that they're standing behind their product. Can't ask for anything more than that!!

YO danmin, got a question for you...the MMS connectors will fit to the harness connector either way, neg to neg and pos to pos or reverse polarity. The plugs fit either way. I assume black goes to black and white goes to red, I'd just like to hear that from someone who has already connected the MMS headlight. ...or maybe you haven't hooked yours up yet.

I could dig my test light out and verify which side is + but if you've already done this, that would save me the hassle.

Here's how I have my light hooked up, red to white and black to black, look good?

The plugs weren't marked High beam and Low beam either so I might have to pull these apart and swap them. Justin told me they will work either way, the low beam will either be yellow or white depending on how the plugs are connected. Low beam should be the yellow light though, right?

I think i'm going to make my lowbeam white. and yellow will be the high beam. and yeah- black to black. white to red. white/red are always the 'hot' colors. I haven't had the chance to hook mine up unfortunately.... i wish i could saw I have..

I did get an update from the tuner that "I'll have you done soon. Next couple weeks."

just in time for cooler weather. let me know how the lights turn out.

I have an installation tutorial and plan to write a review once I see how the light works.
