Well, hope you got a good trade-in price on the duc. Was this the punched out oil pan duc or the other one?
600cc ape!? Tuning down are we, Kruz?
Got my lips ripped off on the trade-in I'm sad to say Hubmeister. They gave me $7000 on the Ducati 959, new bike was
$16,785.05 drive out with the dealer added options, solo rear seat cowl and tail tidy, so had to write the stealer a check for $9,785.05. Not cheap for a tiddler class machine!
The "Bumble Bee" paint scheme is killer but the '24 is hardly a wall flower. Juries still out, the fancy Ohlins, upgraded Brembo brakes and larger throttle bodies and raised rev limiter I'm not really noticing that big a change quite yet, maybe with some break in miles things will improve.
Yep, I traded down 155 HP to 105 HP but I already have six very fast bikes in the garage, 2006 ZX-14, 2016 KRT ZX-10R, 2016 Ducati 1299 Panigale, 2020 BMW S10000RR, 2021 Aprilia RSV4 and the 2024 Ducati V4 along with the older 2011 ZX-10R and the 2015 Honda Repsol CBR1000RR, so not hurting exactly for fast machines.
I've got three tiddlers now, the 2009 ZX-6R, 2024 Aprilia RS 660 Extrema and now the 2027 RS660 Factory, so change of pace, more focus on corner speed rather than outright velocity.
