Hey guys,
I'm sorry for the delay in messaging. I had an ankle rebuild surgery and I have been down for over 2 weeks now. I'm finally clear headed enough to start helping again.
We have had three ECUs sent back now with problems. We have found the problems very quickly and I was able to fix them. I did not charge for this fix and I also paid the return shipping. I am trying to build trust in the community. I had one of the guys say there was a huge problem because now it only wants to wheelie!!! There was SERIOUS issues with the flashes. This confirms Sebastian has been modifying my tunes. One of the ECUs had a dangerous amount of fuel taken away. I'm happy the customer contacted me and we were able to get his bike running the way it was supposed to. It truly makes me worry about the rest of the flashes performed. At this point I THINK he took possession of the laptop around March of 2015. Anyone who had their ECU flashed and wants to have it checked/updated/questions, please contact me. Nels@2wheeldynoworks.com. I have decided to fix these potential issues at just the cost of return shipping. I want to make sure, the guys who trusted will get support and did not waste money. Hopefully this will also encourage new guys to get their ECUs flashed and enjoy the difference. I have a ton of dyno graphs to post but I am recovering with my family out of town. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing our daily performance work. It should be fun to see the variety of motorcycles and results.
We are having an end of year sale on all flashes. Please feel free to contact with any questions. Thanks, Nels

Order you a race fairing, Grn! One of these days, I plan to cut down a stock seat to be almost that low. I'll cut it farther back too. Looks SOOOO cool and I need the extra upper body length for a comfortable tuck. LOL now my ass is up on the seat cowl.

The results from my dyno time with Nels and 2WDW are unsurprising, given that he has tuned all of my machines and those of every rider I know. Nels spent a lot of time working out the initial tune for my bike, and he really went the extra mile to make sure the work was done right.
During break-in, he gave it a great deal of time to heat cycle and only loaded the engine after several cycles. Once the dyno tuning began he was diligent in chasing down every minute detail, not stopping until the product was meticulously reviewed and the motor's output maximized.
I can't recommend Nels enough. The flash is just Nels' product, and the results are detailed below. The humility and professionalism with which he operates are without equal, and to me carry far more importance.

A little lead in,
Two years ago I was at Nels 2 Wheel Dynoworks asking what he thought I should do with my 06 and he said a good start would be his tune and some slip-ons. So he ordered me a set of Yoshi slip-ons and when they arrived I brought my ECU with me and he flashed it while I waited. Loved the improvement to the rideability of the bike. To me everything was better giving me more confidence. Is it faster or quicker? Don't know, but it sure rides like it is. I didn't baseline for comparison.
So jump forward two years and the cblast drama I decided to ask Nels if he thought there was room for improvement in his tune as it was originally mapped from data off of another bike. He felt that there was and he also wanted to look at some other opportunities while my bike was on his dyno. So scheduled a time and brought my bike to his shop to see what my bike was doing and what Nels could improve.
I don't know what my bike did stock as I never did a baseline before the tune and slip-ons, So the dyno graph is my bike with the flash and slip-ons installed two years ago and then what Nels was able to improve with further adjustments. He spent a lot of time also tweaking the maps in all RPMs and throttle positions not just full throttle.
Had the bike out for a ride this last weekend and my ass says its even better, smoother and the roll on power? What a rush!

OK here is the dyno sheet from this last friday at 2wheeldynoworks. I installed the full Hindle 2.25" single system in stainlees with the CF muffler. I also did the PAIR block offs so Nels could tun for that at the same time.
I also weighed all the components to see what weight I would be saving. Stock 06 system is almost 40lbs Each can weighs 14.3lbs. The complete Hindle system weighs 10.2lbs so my bike just lost 30lbs.
Haven't had a chance to ride it yet because as everyone in the world knows it rains a lot in the PNW.
Looking forward to getting out to see how it feels.
Also for anyone interested the Yoshi slip-ons that I had on the bike will be for sale. They are good for almost 20lbs weight reduction and 175hp/107ftlb with Nels 2wheeldynoworks flash. Refer to my previous dyno sheet above if interested. I will get pics and place the add in the for sale area later.

That is with flies in but Nels tunes them open at I believe around 3K. New BMC filter and 92 non ethanol fuel and PAIR block offs. I am running a 190/55 tire which would be a disadvantage on the dyno as it is larger circumference.
Lookin like it might be a good day to give it a test ride this weekend.

The shop has been insane these past few weeks, but it's a good problem to have! If you need anything from me, send me an email 2wheeldynoworks@gmail.com
Thanks!

Grn14, depending on when cblast flashed your ecu, you're running our file. He started changing things on his own down the road but we're not sure when. We'd be more than happy to re-flash your ecu. Gimme a call/email
