Happy 4th to all! I spent the day touring the National park battle grounds at Vicksburg Mississippi that ended with the Confederate's surrender on July 4th 1863. May God bless America!

Rained big time yesterday and the places that did do displays cancelled out BUT the residents did not let rain slow them down. Not as many boom booms as past but still plenty of fireworks going off.

850,000 individual fireworks, flyovers all day long! What a celebration of our 250th birthday. There is absolutely no where else in the world that even comes close to the strength and sovereignty of the United States of America!
