There's no way I know to choose kill times other than to ask others. I didn't get much experience in before banging my gear dogs real bad a couple times. I can say 70 mls is probably too brief, it will miss at high rpm and heavy load and stick between gears. Clutch shift up, DO NOT try to shift back down. That's what was really hard on my gear dogs. It was a lot of years ago but from what I recall, 90 mls worked fine although there was a pronounced jerk as it hit the next gear. I'm pretty sure I can clutch shift that fast and it's perfectly smooth. I was using a foot quickshifter. An electric or air shifter is probably more reliable. Some had better results with a foot quickshifter than I did but I'd get lots of advice before using something like this again.
