The MSRP on the 2014 ABS ZX14R is $15,600ish. Are the dealers likely to adjust the price? That is could I get one for less? I'm buying next month and I'd like to know what other have payed.

I would say it depends on how badly you want the 14 color. A 12 or 13 is the same bike, depending on if you want abs or not. I got a leftover 13 with abs for 11500 out the door. To me that was more reasonable than buying the 14. Even though I loved that burnt orange color.

All the dealers in my part only had 2013 on the floor. So 3 weeks ago I purchased my 13 w/ abs. OTD price was $14,800. The listed cash price was $12,600 and credit price was $13,600.

Are you Caps on the 1441 board? From what I have read, 1200-1500 off (w/o Kawi money added) is a fair deal. More than that and they don't make much on it. I was about 1200 off, and felt it was a fair price; since they didn't add any fees to the price. Obviously if you wait till the end of summer, prices will come down more on 2014's, but options dry up (colors, abs, etc). And maybe Kawi will offer rebates, or maybe not.
ALSO, Costco used to have a Kawasaki buyers program. If your a member, a dealer will call you with a no haggle price; which wasn't too bad. Especially if you in a market where dealers wont budge much on sticker (IE Texas, Cali, Florida).
I tried to find out what the Costco price was, but the dealer wouldn't tell me until I came in with my Costco card. I decided it was too much of a hassle to sign up with them for just that. I already had a Sams card, and the local Costco wasn't built yet. BUT if it means saving over having one shipped, maybe look into it? I believe someone hinted that it was about the same 1000-1200 off I was getting anyway.
Hope this helps.
EDIT. Looks like the dealer in NC is blowing out bikes on ebay. they have several listed. non abs '13 is 11,999. Linked below is a '13 green ABS. 12,500. 2014's are a bit more.

For a 2014, you should be able to get it OTD, incl tax, registration, etc. for the MSRP. You can get a 2013 for less than that. You can go to the Kawasaki website and look under Promotions to see what rebates Kawasaki has on the bikes.
