Yea I've researched the pricing and it's very fair, Ducatis are holding their value very well as long as you don't pile on the miles.
Definitely, if you have three reds, a new color is a bonus.
Agreed, one of my favorite Ducatis of all times was the V4 SP2, matte black with polished alloy tank and subtle red touches.

Those are for goin' but they're not for showin'. I might look into what TechSpec has to offer....just as good and looks cool IMO.
RE: Woolich Racing Kit + Yoshimura R77 - Anyone running this setup?

I wouldn't run it at high rpm on a full system. There was a day with the Gen1 when you could do whatever you want with exhaust because the whole stock map was rich. I would think leaning the fueling back would be the simplest way to meet environmental regulations. The stock fuel mapping might be very lean. This shouldn't be a real issue unless you run the engine at high rpm. I hae a friend who owns the same bike I own, a 2024 ZX-14R. He's ridden it 2 years with slipons and no problem but I think he avoids the upper revs.

I'm not familiar with the Woolich race kit. Is it an auto tuner....you do a run and the Woolich system records fuel trims? I've done that via Dynojet. it works....just you need to go insanely fast for huge amounts of road if you want to tune the lower throttle positions.

Are you sure it's burning in the engine? Mine burnt a reasonable amount on the exhaust manifold before I changed over to the updated ring-os and head cover gasket. Change spark plug gaskets while you're in there too. I was needing to add oil between 2500 mile oil changes.

Take the fairings off, Pull back the engine heat blanket. If you see an oil leak from the LH side of the valve cover, that's it.

I have tutorials on these.

Unlike yours, mine sat for 8 months until summer. There was time for the oil to run down the head pipes and I saw it. This was after two years owning the brand new bike.

I wouldn't bother with the washer fix although I did that and it helped. ..a bit. Get the updated gasket and sealant and you're golden.

I don't have all the bikes you do to compare but I have two hayabusas now. The Gen2 never used a drop of oil. I expect the Gen3 won't either. The 14 is just.....not as refined. I don't want to use the word "crude" (especially for the Gen2 14R) but the ZX-14 uses oil. My brand new 2024 has a film of oil over the throttle bodies ducts after 600 miles. Who knows what's going out of the crankcase vent? ZX-14s use some oil in my experience. ...not a lot but they use some just from natural bleeding.

Test rode a 6th generation ZX-10R. Tuned, air filter, exhaust, etc etc. 200whp. I wanted to get something quick to scratch my motorcycle itch until my turbo 14 is ready... Cant justify 16k for a used bike that needs it's valves checked. Even though it was nice and somewhat fast... the turbo has ruined me.

I think I'm going to wait it out. I bugged the tuner May 3rd. He posted some pictures of a bunch of turbo zx14s getting work started at his shop. Not sure if my bike is included, but I am under the impression it is. He mentioned wanting to do them all at once...

Itching to get it back and finally ride the thing. I forget I even have a motorcycle sometimes until I get asked where the bike is, if it is done yet, someone asks to see it, etc...
