This is going to be like an oil or tire controversy is the electrics are the same old tire/oil wear posts.
I have 4 wires that close the loop as my negative and positive wires complete the millisecond maker called a piggy. If I run a pot off a circuit board, it is to hold the fuel open for so much window of capture of said time is use a platform called software communications in the generic.
Ask yourself in a way like this; is if I know I have a set of points and advancer of old: Do I see they are just lock open and return to idle following a points ramp on it's cam advancer assembly and spring weight action? So, electrically, is not the piggy PC just a fuel timer?
I mean, to make the fuel injector run a touch richer is to keep the plunger open longer is one way. Another way would be to keep that same stock unaltered millisecond of an opening, but this time, you simply push a higher fuel pump pressure at it. This is more a slight tuning window you could apply to the stock parts of the bike.
We now look at our wire harness and use a year of 1999, where the Hayabusa wire harness is the same wire harness as a 2009 Kawi 14. The basic generics have not changed as in your basic plot of injecting fuel. No tricks to confuse you. You still have 4 injectors using the same old 0 to 5v signals to sensors to ECU. We live in that vacuum called 14.7 and those sensors have to follow that absolute till you take your last breath > It will not change or you die any other breath of the pounds per square inch of plant life. Where a leaf does not live in a normal 8 pound vacuum is see if you can install seed and cow 'me new ear' you were getting hear her to the punch line.
Throw me the cut box is she has 6 wires at least? OK, does the system use 4 injectors? OK, that takes care of 4 wires. I know the other 2 have to hot the box for it needs a source of power to work on it's own like a sensor needs to push a number to equal a pressure needed. So, that number amounts to using a pot to twist some rheostat like a throttle position sensor is that rheostat ride up the wire wind > Held the injector open longer.
Well, looks like my parts have yet to change as in open loop? Oh, does it read something like it will only map in closed loop? Are we still at that point of opening that fuel to air ratio at a specific time frame? How many wires are there with the PC5? I can tell you with the Tfi; I have enough of the correct wires to connect right up to a 2009 14, then take the same unit and install the same unit all the way down to a 1999 Busa. If the same old PC3 has the same part number for a 1999 as it does for the 2008 say that part has not changed; WATT does that tell you about taking that PC5 and retro fit that to the same 9 years past are the same 4 cylinders and the same 0 to 5v communication signal.
So, for sure the Tfi is a given. She fits any '4' injectors. There is no software but a way to tone the injector via a rheostat signal is remap the ECM to read this ping is just a signal in electrical pressure called 10ths of volts. There were no maps for bikes until some were made. You do not need a map for Tfi is seat of the pants it falls on it's face too rich.
You place the same voltage map layer is change the volt values to read so much open or so much close is rich or lean a map. Does the PC5 have 4 extra wires? You see 8 injector wires and now WATT? I am not going to say it will not work. I have not wired it up on my bike to know this. But say something is going to be open is short 4 wires no matter how you look at it. You are shorting out that injector for a few mill's.
